Suggestion Idea/Specifics: When joining a game, an alternative to having a password is to have a request to join a game. For example, I want to join a game I don't know the password to. I click join game and a request is sent to the maker of the game. He/she can then approve if I can join the game or not.

Why it is needed: Useful for games you don't know the password to, and saves the hassle of sending out pm's to join the game.

Priority (1-5): 2.5

Probably not needed for tourney games, may be more useful in callouts/real times.

Hm, I rather like this idea. Perhaps if create a private game, you have the option of the system sending out pm requests to join 'X #' game. Like you said, it'd save people setting up games with friends, associates, and enemies from directly contacting each other.

Perhaps expanding on the option, we could see what their status is with the requests. <User 1> Accepted, <User 2> Pending, <User 3> Rejected.

We'll see what lack has to say on this one.

Well since this just automates what can already be done via human interaction I'dgive it a lower priority. I think it would be more important to be able to open up private games to the public, for example.

Being able to open up private games is going to be very nice - really looking forward to that implementation - so I agree

I would really value this option. When I run low on games, I search for friends that I haven't played against in a long while. It's fun to play again whether w/ or against. However, I always sound like a dope asking for a password.

It's like high school when everyone else knew where the party was, and I had to try to find out w/out letting them know I wasn't cool enough to be invited in the first place.

Plus, it would be more efficient.
