Make it so 10 is bronze, 20 is silver and 30 is gold. 1-9 will remain the wooden color.
This will improve the following aspects of the site:- Make Tournament Achievement work like the other medals
- Give people something to work for

nah I think the current system for tournament medals is fine
but if this does get approved, you might wanna suggest the same thing for map-making medals

Great idea. Then there are just the 3 medals.

If a change were to be made to the medals, there are far better ways to do it than simply changing the color of the ones they currently get. That doesn't make it any different than it is right now. People will still make the same number of tournaments just to get the medals, regardless of the requirements.

HAHA
Not going to happen. Some of us put large amounts of effort, time, and creativity into our tournaments, and the Tournament Directors aren't going to ass f*ck us like that.

Haven't you been taught how to read? I said the TD's wouldn't f*ck us in the ass with your suggestion. And for the record, flame(baiting) the mods gets you the attention of Twill, actually.

From my view, adding "ranks" to the medals would just cause more people to make minimum tournaments to get up to the gold coloring. That's not what we want.
And Kotaro, tournament people like to keep things civil.

I don't believe he was hating on the Tournament Directors at all.
In fact, I beileve he was complimenting them.

I think it was actually a form of a friendly warning, lets try a little harder next time.

So I'm curious as to what your agenda is here. Personally I don't care how many medals are given for tourneys, I don't make tourneys for medals or not but I'm wondering about why you seem to be trying to bait people. I'm sort of working on the assumption that you're young and don't know any better but this argument has been made several times already which means that either you didn't bother to look (assuming that you are the first to have this idea because nobody else thought of it?) or you started the thread for the purpose of stirring up someone to fight with such as Kotero. I'll admit that I don't know you at all however you've kind of been spewing across a number of CC boards over the past 3-4 weeks. There is an old adage that says that it is better to keep your mouth shut and have folks think you a fool than to open it and prove them correct.

Geez, this really shouldn't be that difficult to figure out. Kotaro WAS complimenting the Tournament Directors by saying he didn't believe they wouldn't take such an action against the Tournament Organizers. The fact that Night Strike gave him a friendly warning is likely BECAUSE he recognized that Kotaro wasn't insulting the Tournament Directors.
Hell, Kotaro and I don't even remotely get along, but you're wrong to say he was hating on the Tournament Directors.

I've chosen to completely disregard any post that sailor makes in the future, as most of his posts show how clueless he really is.

DEAR GOD PEOPLE.
He gave me a "friendly warning" because I used the analogy "Fucked us in the ass", because he doesn't believe such harsh language is neccessary to life in general
Please, return to the THREAD TOPIC, and estimate about Night Strikes personal problems elsewhere. And yes, it is a problem.

I rather like the distinctive roman numerals in gold on wood look of the current tournament medals. Those numerals say it better than 1-9 (wood), 10-20 (bronze), and so forth.
Too, that these medals have a different look to them shows a difference between "I won a bunch of games," and "I took my time to help others enjoy the site."

If someone spends a YEAR or more in hard and honest working, just to wear a certain medal - why is it so certain they don't deserve it?

A year? With that idea, someone could use the easy spam version, throw out 20 or so 16 person tournaments a week, and probably get them filled just as easily. They usually take about a week to complete. Easy medal. A year? As if.

It depends on people who make the rules. If they make them well, you'll have to spend a year for a gold...

Until people start putting together shitty "long" tournaments just to get a medal. There will always be people that do the bare minimum just to get something shiny.
Let it die guys.
