i suggest getting rid of freemium accounts. or making them able to only play against other freemies or if given a password from a preemie
it is way too easy for these eggs ramning everyone in the ass with invaders. why not get rid of freemium accounts?
the same way flame wars was gone. be like mike, or nike, and just do it. 80 percent of the freemies will end up ponying up the money. so who cares about the other 20 percent?
they do nothing but hinder this site, and cause havoc. 15 of that 20 percent are all just multis anyways.
you would be getting rid of 90 percent of the cheating that goes on here. you could use the extra money from all the freemies paying by improving the site.
make it a 4 plan option: 25 dollars for everything
35 dollars for everything and flame wars
20 dollars for a maximum of 50 games at a time
10 dollars for a maximum of 20 games at a time
but i get so sick of seeing all of these non paying members cheating, and running their mouths, hurry up, take your turn, blah blah blah.
get rid of them.

so on what premises are you deciding to eliminate them?
first off i would like to point out that if you do get rid of them then you limit your enemy field down to 20% give or take.
now that means that now that makes your opponent range down to 4 thousand people, assuming nobody leaves or joins.
that will
a) reduce the number of tournaments that can play as not all 4k play tourneys
b) reduce map production as freemiums do play a big role in map production, just as much as premiums
c) decrease the number of people that will stay at this site, i for one will leave if i can only play 4k ppl total which drops your profits
d) severely drop the income of this site as less people will join, being a freemium is a huge role in becoming a premium, not for all but for most
e) reduce the overall fun of this site, as i have clearly shown that of the 4k, many will leave and fewer will join
all for what? because you lack full appreciation for how helpful some freemiums can be? or because you seem to have some angry rage against something that you are taking out on a group of ppl that have done nothing wrong?
now the only benefit you have provided is that we will have less multis. Well let me be the first to say that if multis are that large of a problem i would much rather see you leave then the freemiums

I disagree as well. Isn't ConquerClub a community of players as a whole? I'm sure plenty of freemiums are good honest players. Premium and freemium members are collectively part of my conquerclub experience as I am probably part of someone else's conquerclub experience.
"80% would pony up the money"... or, not? As a freemium I don't expect unlimited games or speed games that premium members are entitled to. I'm happy to abide by the standard of 4 playable games at a time. I can tell friends about the site, I can refer people. If I didn't feel like paying to play more than 4 games at a time, and those 4 games become unavailable I'm not gonna say: "Well... I went from 4 games to 0 games, might as well pay 25$." before I say: "Well I've had such a great time here, I'm ready to take it to the next level. 25$ is worth going from 4 games to unlimited."
"... so who cares about the other 20 percent?"
If they're going to die, then they'd better do it, and decrease the surplus population.
Anyway, I'll cast my vote. Premium members and Freemium members make up ConquerClub, I've played with both and can tell you I wouldn't tell a freemium member that they are ruining my experience. I come here to play a good game and give my opponents/partners a good game as well.

Freemiums are the life and soul of CC... without them no-one would ever join.
Keep them.

Bingo! Everybody wants to try before they buy.

Perfect way to do it.

I was freemium for a couple months before I decided to buy, I tried out multiple risk sites, determined which one I liked.. Tried out all the features, see if people are abusing the ranking system, and got a feel for the community as a whole. I didn't even know if this type of site could fit my schedule, I needed to test it out before I decided to purchase, keep freemium!
Plus there are lots of people who play a lot that are not premium.

Guys I really don't think we need to rally to keep freemiums. Obviously lack is not going to switch the site to pay only, because he would like to stay in business for more than a year.

All premiums were freemiums when they join CC. Keeping the rules like this is the better way to have new players. Now I'm freemium

but I was premium for a while and I don't understand why I cant play speed games any more !

I'm not at all in favor of getting rid of freemiums...However, how are freemiums themselves "providing money to pay for new servers and features on this site along with maintaing CC"?

Freemiums make up a majority of the site, so I completely disagree with ronc (obviously). Secondly, the publicity that freemiums provide is very important, as when you tell your friend it's free they will have less doubt in doing it. Then, the minimum four games at a time (as it has done to me), will eat you up and make you either pay for premium or beg your friend.

lack pays some amount of money to keep this site running
and premiums are a source of money to pay to run this site
PS. People pay to run a website
