Premium Membership Trial Period

I think that for new people who sign up for conquerclub should be givin a 1 week trial of the membership and then if the buy one while their in that weeks time then they should get like a 10% discount or somthing cheesy like that! You would get a lot more people buying the membership! And also they would get to try it frist so they know what their getting into!
And for those people who already have signed up for conquerclub they should get a week trial too. So if you do make this trial just make a side button! :D

If you do dicide to go through with this just let me know! :D I'd love to hear about it! 8)

I see a problem with this. If they join alot of games in that first week those games will carry over to when they are no longer premium if they choose not to purchase it. Players could start alot of games and when everything died down just start a new account.

I could see allowing them to play up to four games and a speed game if they were only allowed to play speed for the first week...

let's say CC did do this...what would a person with trial membership do? create as many games as possible. Then once the week had expired, they would have a crazy amount of games to play, and for most of them, there wouldn't be any reason to get premium since they already have all the benefits. This, in turn would make the paying premium members sad, so they might refuse to pay, which would cost the site even more money...this is why there will probably never be a "trial membership" other than the fremium one that exists now

also will be more multis created...their week is up. why not create a new account more games

I have copied this answer of mine from your other thread.

Your idea and argument might carry a little more weight if you had become a premium member yourself.

To have the benefits you have, and then ask for more, while contributing nothing to the resources required to keep the site going is, quite frankly, a bit rich.

i think giving each freemium member a small number of speed games could be helpful. Not 1 or 2 at a time, but say 5 total.

the only thing is abuse and stuff.
it would most likely be a once off thing. and be worthwhile for lack to do. ie doing that gets more premium.

It should not be given to new members. It's problematic enough when new members drop out of four games. Just think of them dropping out of 25

Same response as your other thread suggesting essentially the same thing....

It would spawn too many multis, create too much server load and generally degrade the level of service too much.

Sorry. Rejectified.

Premium Trial Period

To quit or to stay someone persuade me!!!!!

I was introduced to this game. It looks a lot of fun. But a big sad drawback. To spend 25 dollars US to find out whether the game suits me or not is quite an ask. 3Days 3games and two turns total later (is this what i might be paying hard earned cash for) im not looking to play a game that might finish in one month or a few years, i want to finish it in meabe one day or a few hours but i cant because You have to be a premium member. Now here is my problem if the game gave me premium membership for say 7 days and i enjoy it ill buy the anual 25 dollar subscription fee. Then and only then i could see the full enjoyment of the game and spend my cash. But to have gourmet peanutbutter more frequently the moderators should considder this, as i feel this way there should be hundreds others feeling the same way. lets say 500 likes the game after 7 days and buys membrship its $12 500 but only 5 to 10 might buy membership cause they not willing to pay $25 for something they might not enjoy fully....... I Need Say no more

The only way that would work would be if you had something like 500 completed games otherwise there would be a lot of multies

True Oojakeo but to give you and idea what 25$ IS WORTH in my country i can go out and have two blast of evenings eating out with friends,,, that is much better than paying 25 dollars for a game i might find dissappointing if there isnt much gameplay and all i can go on from my point of veiw is gameplay ive had already as i said 3 games not even turn 3 completed..... Also 25$ in south africa is about 12% of an average months pay for most ppl here not that i fall in that catagory im one of the blessed ones but to waste on what i dont know if i would like it leaves more to suggest that the owners of the game should give new members a chance to feel the real thing to find out if they are gonna enjoy,,,,,,,,,, i might as well chuck 25 US in the toilet and flush and see if it floats for recovery the gamble is the same

For 25$, this is one of the best values in all of gaming I've found. If you love this type of game, this is the site to be at.

You can also try the trialpay options.

I believe you can see the 4 games are a free taste of this site. Obviously speed games are faster, and only availiable to paying members. Thats the tradeoff right there.
Still I believe a while back all freemium (free) accounts gotten 2 speedgames. Thats how i was drawn over the line to get my premium Still speed is not the only type of game i'll play. in fact, once i have my Gold Medal in speed, i'll prob never play it again.. 178 more unique wins to go...

This is an option. To get a taste of speed games you can set up a RT game with someone. Just ask if anyone in live chat wants to play RT, or post in the Callouts forum.
