Two New Tournament Director‘s

Over the Years we have seen 6 different Tournament Directors...
This week we can add 2 more names to this list...

This week saw two new Tournament Directors added to help out in the Tournaments Forum. Gilligan and Natewolfman after serving as Tournament Elves for a quite a while joined the team of dedicated Directors already overseeing the Tournaments. After the resignation of Optimus Prime at the end of 2008 Steelhorse and Night Strike were looking after the Tournament Forums all by themselves, but with these extra sets of hands now assisting, the Tournament Community can look forward to even more dedication and innovation in the months and years to come.

Here is what Steelhorse and Night Strike had to say about bringing the new director’s onboard…

Steelhorse wrote:A Warm Welcome to Gilligan and Natewolfman, our 2 newest Tournament Directors.

As most of you know, Nate and Gill have been working as Tourney Elves for quite some time and have done a stellar job. Both have devoted many hours to improving the Tournaments Forum and assisting myself, Night Strike, and Optimus with the day-to-day operations and logistics.

When it came time to look for help in the form of new Tournament Directors, it was fairly obvious ,to all involved, who would be the best choices at this time. These two have certainly paid their dues and proven their value to the Tournaments Forum and to the CC community at large.

So, with that I'd like to formally announce our 2 newest Tournament Directors, Gilligan and Natewolfman.

I thank you both for your past and continuing efforts in making CC the best gaming site on the net.

Steelhorse

And I also asked the 2 new Director’s to comment about their new positions, and here is what they had to say…

Natewolfman wrote:I am glad to be a part of Team CC, and especially a part of the Tournament Directors. Tournaments have been my main thing on CC since I stumbled onto the forums, and I am glad I have been a positive influence, and hopefully this can translate into my new job. If anyone ever needs help or has questions, I will do my best to help you, or find the person who can. Thanks CC.

Gilligan wrote:Hola tournament fans,

I'd just like to say thanks to all of you who keep this forum running. Without all of the organizers and players, this forum would not be what it is today, so hats off to you guys.

Now that I just became a Tournament Director, I can personally help you with more things, such as privileges and medals. I've done organizing for over two years, so this is a big thing for me to do what I love and to share it with those who do as well. Thanks guys.
