CC Newsletter - Ask A Mod

It's time to unveil a new section to the Conquer Club Newsletter. This section will be titled "Ask A Mod". Every issue, Night Strike will take a few minutes to examine concerns that you as the community have concerning parts of the site. This can be used to help clarify a site policy or procedure, help explain a new site update, or just help you gain a better understanding of where the moderators and administrators are coming from when they take an action. This column will NOT be used to second guess a decision or single out any particular moderator or member. This is also not an interview of Night Strike; it's a chance to learn about why things are the way they are on the site.
So, what questions do you all have?

What happened to the "nominate new mods" idea from last month? It's been a little over "a few weeks."

Sometimes people come up with rules that are well meant, but ineffective. I'm reluctant to give CC specific examples but a real-life example is: Children are getting drunk which is bad --> ban anyone under the age of 18 from buying alcahol. Sounds fine, right? Well, what about the 17 year old that wants to get a bottle of wine for his Dad at christmas....? He's tall, he doesn't get ID checked... both him and the shop assistant are criminals...
So here is the question:
Does the CC moderation team aim to take "the rules" and apply them differently to individual people and specifc cases.
If yes.. how effective do you feel the team is in doing this?
Thanks, Rocket.

well it's been a while since anyone posted something here...
So let's go for a sweet little question!
Do you guys meet sometimes for BBQ at someones place?
I know you are all over the world... but do any of you have already met in person?

It was just answered in the newest issue.
I didn't answer all the questions at once because I don't have a large bank of questions. The more questions people submit, the more I'll answer each issue.

Is there a list someplace of who all the mods are and what they do?
is there a list someplace of who all has been banned from CC?
Can we see performance Statistics of CC, like how many people join each month, how many go premium each month, what percentage of new accounts are multis, how many people stop playing each month, how long does the average user remain on CC, etc etc etc?
Can I get free premium?
If a mod bans somebody, and nobody is around to see it, does it make a sound?

isn't there a minimum age someone has to be before they can be considered a mod? has lack or anyone thought of increasing the lower age range, to eliminate children running amok on power trips?-0

i did not ask you, this is the ask a mod question. please do not respond to my question as you are not a mod. that could be considered trolling and off topic. please leave me alone colton, i would hate to have to place you on foe. i placed a legit question about the age of mods, and am hoping for a response. again:

Guys if you want to do this constant back and forth picking at each other's inadequacies then please take it to Turtle soup. This is for questions for the section Ask a Mod. That is all it is for.
Thanks,
samuelc812

Hi - I'd be interested to know if there are plans to change the rule that allows someone in a freestyle game to take two turns in a row?
It is a concern that comes up a lot. It seems to be a particular disadvantage for new players who feel mislead by the freestyle rule that says "The player who triggers a new round is blocked from taking a second back-to-back turn and must wait until either an opponent begins their turn or half of the round passes."
Thanks!

I want to know if we're ever going to get to play 2-player "team" games. In my opinion, it is the single most strategically interesting addition CC could give us.

Guys, I can't answer questions about site updates because I'm not the one coding them. And lack rarely shares with the mods when one is coming.
