MrConfigT, I was just switching hosts and stuff. It's back up now.

fluffybunnykins, yea, it was a rear projection system with 2 mirrors. Quite a pain to work out all the angles. You can see the setup here: http://www.blowaway.org/project/table/

Very cool, but it would be even better for general users if we could hit your page and select the production map from a drop down instead of having to type or paste file names.

I'd like to echo Fantius' suggestion. That would be a great upgrade to this. In addition, when I use the World 2.0 map, it cuts off the right side.

Is there any way to get this functionality in the game itself?

I think it might make the map in the game a little busy... but when you click on the small icon of the map, this handy dandy doodad should pop up instead of the current icon.

Seems to have a bug in it for larger maps, like arctic and world2.0

Excellent Tool. Thank you for this! AWESOME!

KevinC...your tool cuts the bottom of my map short...is this because your tool is designed for specific size...my map is 789 px high?

How do I upload my XML to somewhere so that I can check it against a map image?

Test the coordinates by putting in the image url and selecting the xml from a location on your computer/network.

Or if you need the xml online, just use some free file hosting site.

EDIT: Done and tested - perfect.

Your creation has been fantastic; however, the right and lower margins cut-off some of Australia and the Claims. Is there a way to expand the map to see it all? My system tools don't seem to provide an answer --- I haven't noticed anyone else, except my doubles partner, that have this problem.
Am I overlooking something?

I've been having similar problems with it. It is fairly worthless with the bigger maps of late. I was trying to check D-Day borders and I can't see any of the ships or the flyovers.

I had similar experiences on Firefox and so I tried in on my IE, and that was better. The problem, for me at least, seems to be the extra toolbars on Firefox that was responsible for pushing much of the map off the visible page. But not all of it, there was still some off screen. Making the browser window full-screen fixed that though.

kevinc has provided me a copy of the source code. If anyone is interested in furthering the development of the XML Reader just send me a PM.
