Friends Online Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X

In response to user requests, I've created a new widget to keep track of your friends and view their online status on Conquer Club.

The widget allows you to create a list of Conquer Club friends and updates periodically. The information for the widget comes from the data located at http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewonline.php

Basically, this page is being turned into an XML feed which is then loaded by the widget and parsed through. The downloaded and parsing through the widget may take a second or two.

This widget is currently just a beta test and the interface defiantly needs optimization. I'm about to head out for my wedding and Honeymoon and wanted to get this out for feedback before I left.

Please let me know what you think and any additional features you'd like to see!

Dude, I fuckin' love you!

EDIT: Downloaded it and it's working perfectly :D

EDIT2: Though, maybe you could make it so that when you click on the person, it takes you to there profile, just like when you click on the games, it takes you to the game with your other widgit.

First off windows does deserve it. You need to learn to spell.

Second off, if you don't make this for windows you should at least make it a firefox add on.

Good idea, I'll add the profile linking after getting back in town.

I posted a small update for the widget today. The new version now allows you to click on a player's name to view their online profile.

Other programmers can easily tap into the XML I built if they want to create their own friends notifier for Windows or other operating systems.

The url for the XML feed is: http://www.wussell.com/sandbox/cc/whosonline.php
