tenio, do you mean that Greasemonkey is not compatible with FF3b4? Or BOB?

The current release of GM needs its version bumped to install correctly in FF3b4...if you're not comfortable hacking FF extensions, I'd recommend going back to FF2 until the official GM update.

I just noticed that points are showing up in the log, and in the elimination summary.

The log is being downloaded - and this will be taking up the browser resources - possibly for a little while...

The next release will hopefully have a method of Progress bar/Please wait etc to show you when BOB has finished processing.

You're just the only impatient person...

Actually I'd been wanting to put some kindof progress notifier on the screen since Conquerman came along...

You might have had a wrongly cached version of game.js - which is a Conquerclub file not GM - and would react badly.

TBH - I don't think this is anything todo with the script - it must be something on your end.

Since the last update it has been v.buggy for me.

a) sometimes it just doesnt work. The monkey is smiling, but bob isnt working. Out of the last 4 games i have visited, this has happened in 1 of them...a 8 player freestyle esc.

b) when bob is not working, i cannot post after about 10 secs of the page being refreshed.(i think that its when/after the page refreshes automatically)... I have to refresh the page and type what i want to say really quickly

EDIT: Fixed... scott told me to load the whole logs and it works fine now.

All of this works fine for me, but I do have a problem with typing in chat. On some maps, the HUD will half cover the post message button, and I can't press it without turning off the HUD. Changing the width doesn't help, because it's really a problem with the height. I can't suggest anything, but if there's something that could be done to fix this, that would be great :)

EDIT: I can post a screenshot if need be.

question

Postby friendly1 on Sun Mar 16, 2008 4:31 pm

Hey Yeti :D

Just have a question regarding missed turns.

Game 1863826
Round 13

Missed Turns not calculating for eliminated or active players. (1 active player, 1 eliminated player)

FF Version 2.0.0.12
Bob Version 4.3.6

Load Entire Log is enabled, and I have performed ctrl F5 to reload, no change.

No difference on standard or extended stats display.

Game 1863824
Round 14

Exact same issue. Also 1 active player and 1 eliminated player.

If I had to guess, the script is loading the entire log but possibly not scanning the entire log? Of course this should be considered an extremely uneducated guess, friendly1 couldn't write a basic program with decades of training, much less delve into scripting ;-)

Thanks!

Set it to load the full logs. It works fine for me after that.

Bit confused by your game numbers here... both games are a) without you in them b) with no missed turns in. c) with 1/2 players eliminated not kicked.

im assuming problems with bob go here? it seems to me that the senate map im playing on is producing bob issues...mainly the whole territ/strength/value card estimate thing doesnt show up at all and any bob confirmation when i take a turn requires me to reload the page ...yes even attack to attack makes me reload... game 1635262 in case for some reason other people with bob can see if there territ/strength thingy doesn't load... ive reinstalled greasemonkey itself and the script already and have done all that cash clearing stuff i believe... thnx 8)

vrex, I just looked at that game and could not see the STATS box. I believe it is only that game though. If you look at my U.S. Senate game 1927449, you should see the box (at least I do).

This game has a "Neutral is a deadbeat" log... these fail to load I'm afraid...

You'll have to play without BOB in that game.

PS
Code: Select all
2008-03-04 22:12:24 - neutral player was kicked out for missing too many turns
