The scoreboards updates after each Map Rank. There is a 1000 pt difference - Map Rank is +x whereas scoreboard is 1000+x

So I just tried both these and it looks ok, you are number 20 on that list.

Ok I have finished evaluating memory usage and the good news is that there is tons of space left so I am lifting restrictions.

First thing I guess I will do is add as many map scoreboards as possible then perhaps settings also.

Any ideas I have missed or forgotten feel free to remind.

Ok more Map Ranking required.

There is now a Top 50 scoreboard for every single map.

So, Scoreboard would be 1000+ +1006?? So it should think I have +2006?

How does this extra 1000 explain the difference between megaplunker's +15000 & +17000?

The difference when I checked both was 1000.

I checked again literally as I posted this and Map Rank gave up + 16118 whereas CC scoreboard server gave up 17118
That is correct because Map Rank only shows points gained whereas CC scoreboard adds 1000 like the normal points system.
Also once you've done a map rank from the game finder, that is when the scoreboard is updated.
If you go to the scoreboard first then you are looking at an older map rank result.

Look at the number of games on each to see if you are really comparing like for like.

New stuff

High Scores and Last Update Added

At the moment all high scores are zero and the date is also zero.

From now on, each time a map rank is done the date is recorded (so we can see who hasn't been updated in a while)
in the Last Updated column.

Also if the new score is higher than the old, it replaces the old high score so the scoreboard records the highest map rank score since today.

All Time High Scores Added

The Top 10 individual Map Rank Thread has been
painstakingly tended to by AAFitz. With huge huge help from AAFitz (thanks a million) the Map Rank Scoreboard now does all of this automatically.

1. To see All Time High Score List for any Scoreboard:

Go to the scoreboard and sort by High Score.

2. To see ALL Scoreboards with the top 10 highest ever scores recorded click on the Scoreboards button underneath "All Time High Scores".

This is being updated with the Top 10 individual Map Rank data as we speak thanks to AAFitz and some volunteers (thanks).

From now on then, all high scores will be recorded and automatically updates all scoreboards.

If you sort by Latest Update you can see which scores may need updating so use this if you are looking after some scoreboards.

You will need Map Rank version 1.2.7 to register all time high scores automatically.

Previously we only had "high scores from yesterday" whereas with this version of Map Rank, you will get an accurate highest ever score from the
chart data which orders every point swing by time - exactly like the usual scoring system.

The underlying mechanism is not affected - if you get a higher score than this then the high score will be updated.

As a consequence of this is will be harder to see the HIGH SCORE! text whenever a Map Rank is done
because it automatically makes sure the highest score is registered in the database so your current score will have to be higher or equal.

I have just fixed a bug in adding new players to the non-Top 10 scoreboards, so if you had problems then it is now solved.

A big thanks to Blitzaholic and Natascha for persevering with this - they managed to narrow it down in the end, well done , guys.

thx chip, and thx for seeing it, because I wasn't sure. gr8 work with this implementation.

The problem is restricted to players that were not already on non-top 10 scoreboards (like Overall, Teams, Escalating, Spoils etc) not being added - this is now fixed but those Map Ranks need to be redone so that the player can be added, sorry

Other scoreboards (Top 10 Maps and Tournament) were ok.

If a player was already in the scoreboard then they would have been updated correctly so those don't need to be redone.

OK, I seem to appear now - but with the 2006 score I had then, and not the 'latest score' of 2049

Also, it seems that only army of nobunga has ever scored on Peloponnesian War - he is the only guy in the top 50.

Just Map Rank yourself and other people and these will fill up with latest data.

The scoreboard can only show what has been Map Ranked.

I did - which is why I know I have 2049 (1049) for Doodle.

And, of all the people that have ap ranked themselves, there must be more than 1 who has scored on Peloponnesia.

Even when going to game finder and doing specific map rank scores for myself, then back to scoreboard, it is all wrong:

If I search for myself on either map then I get my latest score - then when I do the top 50 it is either not there or my old score.

Have you Map Ranked them?
Map Rank updates Peloponnesia after someone Map Ranks a player + Pelopponesia on game finder.

That means 1 person has done this so far.

Are you refreshing the scoreboard after Map Ranking? The scoreboard needs to fetch the new data obviously so refresh it (press F5).

Give me an example of where the latest map score is wrong with details, nobody else is having a problem.

Using 1.2.7? Uninstalled associated preferences?

Remember press F5 on scoreboard after you do a Map Rank so it gets new data.

Yes, did all the other clicking and updating, apart from refreshing - so it is right now - all 2 of us have map ranked Peloponnesian War.

If only lack would do this for you as it is pretty dependant on players doing specific map ranks etc.

Accurate Overall Scores, Highest Scores and Unique Defeats

You need Map Rank version 1.5.0 for these.

The overall scoreboard will update with accurate scores and highest scores.

All scoreboards will have unique defeats.

Alexander's Empire doesn't appear to register any scores. If you search top 50 Alexander Empire it says this:

my map rank isnt working.

i think it might have to due with the "#" in my name.

map rank is fixed.

for all the noobs out there (like me), if you look under "Reset", it will say "update".

its funny how that works.
