Conquer Club Tour(nament) Stats

Note There is a quick link to this post next to the Tour Stats text in the left menu on the Game Finder.
(It's the current version number but will jump to this page when you click on it.)

Image

Requirements
You must be running Firefox with Greasemonkey installed.
Full instructions for Firefox and Greasemonkey from scratch: viewtopic.php?t=41487
No facility for autologin is yet implemented so you do need to be logged in or you can use the
Auto-login script

Installation
Click on this link (with Firefox and Greasemonkey installed)
Conquer Club Tour Stats
Click on Install and that's it.
Once installed you will see this on the Game Finder.
A button Tour Stats will show up at the bottom.

What does it do

Gives detailed results for tournaments.
Go to the Game Finder.
Select Tournament.
Optionally type in Partial Game label (see below).
Optionally add player name for individual results.
Optionally add several player names for combined results (use for replacements).
Press Tour Stats button (at bottom of Game Finder).

There are 3 tabs one for Summary , one for Detailed Results, and one for game labels.

Summary

You will see players, games they played , number of wins , losses, active games and games where they have been eliminated.
Games = Wins + Losses + Active + Eliminated.
Click on light blue column headers to sort and reverse sort.

Results

The results tab lists all finished games, map name and who won and who lost.
Click on the blue game number links to see game page.
Note that the losers are in the order they were eliminated from left to right.
For team games you can see a small number showing the team number of defeated players.
This is so you can see which teams were knocked out first.

Image

Labels

Click on game label to see all summary and results for that label.

Labels
You can also search by game labels (so for example look at results for a specific round).
All full Game labels are printed at the top of the tables in the Summary and Results tabs.
Click on any red label on the Labels tab to see stats for that specific game label.
Click on blue tournament name to see overall stats.

Partial game labels can be entered on the Game Finder in the Game Label textbox.
You will get stats and results for all game labels containing the text that you typed.

For example if you have several game labels containing the text "Round 1"
you can get stats and results collectively for all of these labels
by typing "Round 1" in the Game Label textbox on the Game Finder.

This uses the New Conquer Club API

You can sort columns by clicking column headers.

Love the fact that this is available, but I really think you should call it something other than "Tour Stats" because that is entirely confusing. :)

Excited to see where this goes as it beefs up.

I was thinking the same thing...I thought it has something to do with the Pro Golf Tour or something like that. <grin>

This looks like it could end up being a tremendous tool for tournament organizers.

1.0.2 available.

Clickable Game Labels.

Click on the red game labels at top of table to see stats for any game label.
Click on blue tournament name to see overall stats.

This avoids repetitively scanning each game label - one scan does them all and you can view stats from any label.

So using game label on game finder is redundant, although you can still do that if you want.

Any chance of adding partial matches for those game labels? I'm running a 4-group multi-round tournament with tons of games in each round, but I have a universal naming scheme of [Round #] - [Group Name] - Game [#]. Consequently I have a zillion labels all turning into one game.

What's the tournament name? (I don't quite see what you mean, sorry)

Do you want a subset of game labels , something like that?

How do you want this presented to the user?

He's referring to partial game labels.

Example:

In my Amazing Race - Europe Tournament, I use Round # Group # for every round. What he's wanting is for the ability to search/sort by only having to type in Round 1 rather than Round 1 Group 1. And have it spit out all results for Round 1 Group #.

Ok I can see how to do this, but I think I could only do this from a game finder search. I won't know a partial game label just by inspecting the game labels so cannot present them in the red label links. At the moment obviously I take the full game label and allow links to show results.

Version 1.0.4 available - you can now use Partial Game Labels on the Game Finder in the Game Labels textbox.
Both Summary and Results Tabs will reflect all Game Labels containing the text you typed in.

It's a shame that clan challenge games can't be labeled the same way as tourney games, 'cause as someone in the midst of co-organizing a big honkin' challenge, this would be breathtakingly useful.

great stats tool. :D =D>
THese will help a lot in League tournaments, expecialy in mine !vs1 tournament marathon.
Can i give you one sugestion to add.
In result options, when you have League tournaments where players play-home and away, can you add option who show in what map they play.
these can look like:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Game-----Map----First opponent---bt------Second opponent
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

these will help to fast determine in what map they play.

Is there a way to have the number of turn a game last.

it will help tournament where points are assigned based on the number of round (ex. NHL 08-09).

I think this may required change to the API first.

Thanks.

Not sure I am following.

I would like to have this information available in the script.

this way we can report an extra column with the number of game lost in OT or Tie.
When you do a sport league, the number of turn is used to decide OT lost or tie game.

We may need a way to pass the information to the script (probably add a capture box beside the tour stat command.

I am starting to modify the script to create a version more oriented toward sport league.

This is my first time programming grassmonkey script.
I am normaly doing C for micro-controller.

Where I should ask for grassmonkey support (user interface modification)?

Done. Click on Latest Version Installed to get this mini-update.

To be clear, Lost means the game has ended in a loss. (You can still win a game if eliminated for example in a team game).
Lost does not mean you have been eliminated in an active game, I can do this also.

Version 1.0.5 available with lots of smallish changes:

Added Losses and Eliminated columns to Summary Tab.

So we have the full equation

Games = Wins + Losses + Active + Eliminated

All columns in both Summary and Results Tabs sortable by clicking light blue column headers. Click again to reverse sort.
Maps added to Results Tab.

is there a way with the script to add a capture box to get an entry on the page?
