In case you're interested, there's another small "Risk"-type site that has a Ukraine map... along with maps of Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Iran, and other nations. Unfortunately that site is very slow.
Here it is:

Ooh, I really like the B&W Cold War styling of that map. This Ukraine map could use a visual theme like that; I'm not much a fan of this flat pattern + embossed style that was popular on here a decade ago.

Actually that "Victors United" map IS in color, once the game starts. The territory colors are shades of yellow, blue, and green that blend together nicely. The B&W map is only for display.

Ok, I think we need to revisit this map and finish it.
What are we waiting on here? I will help get this map to the battlefield.

Yes, get it going before it is redundant...

Well for starters the 'contested' bonus area should be a lot bigger.

I've been busy for the last few weeks. I am working on this, what other features do you want? So far I see a bigger contested area, what else?

Huh? An "ordinary" map that is clean and well made is better than an abomination laden with photoshop effects. There are some really terrible older maps on here that suffer from some of that "let's slap a few effects and ugly fonts on this plain map so that it isn't plain." There are some gorgeous older maps too. But there are few of them that I would love to get at and fix because they annoy me.
This map looks nice so far.

Perfect! Do you have any ideas to add to it?
