Why do noobs like feudal?

What is the deal with noobs joining feudal games and all of the farming accusations? I've never played feudal. Now I think I should try it just to see if there's something incredibly addictive about that map that calls question marks to it.

I think most like the different style of play it has without being too complicated.

They probably haven't trawled through the forums re farming accusations. Possibly wouldn't know what farming was.
Probably, when you go into "join a game" when you first begin, and are itching to get going, feudals are the first ones that come up. It's because feudal addicts set up tons of games so these games end up surfacing to the first page and that's what new members see first and thus join.
I guess that they don't know too much about freestyle either, but I don't think you look into detail when you've just joined.
Certainly when I first joined I just entered the first game I came across that I thought might start soon.
