Feudal for "?s" a poll

Okay folks let's have a quick voter on this matter. How many more spurious accusations must be endured in the C&A forum. Accusations against people who's only crime is that they enjoy playing 5or6 player Feudals. The time has come. Feudal is not a simple straight forward type of map, it has bombardments, large stacks of neutrals which must be dealt with, and also those tempting little village bonuses which are attractive for a n00b to take but then give their position away. Also this maps pretty green color seem to attract "?" like a flame draws a moth to it's demise.

When playing Feudal, New Recruits see a completely different game type which sets CC apart from competition. To the best of my knowledge that's the only factor stopping Lack from adding it to the Noob-blocked-maps list right away. What would you do in his situation, knowing that a Noob playing Feudal could lead to another paying customer ? Would you hide Feudal games created by specific players ("Farmers") from New Recruits or would that be unfair ? Besides, everyone's a Feudal Noob until they've played at least a few games on the map regardless of how long they've been on the site.

To start with, you're not getting too much of a biased drop on Feudal, and when the game initiates, the n00b can feel free to attack at will, conquer territories (woop, conquering, that's what the n00b is here for :D) and not have anything too disastrous happen, too quickly. That's my reasoning as to why Feudal seems like such an attractive map to n00bs, because of the fact it's easily started, played, and continued later. However, the fact there is an underlying master strategy to victory on this map is why you will rarely see a n00b emerge with a points gain from such a game. However, when a n00b loses on Feudal, you'll rarely see them disheartened, and the fact they know the basics on a playable map gives them the confidence to pursue a CC career.

I can see the fun value going down for n00bs if this was placed on the block list, but, of course, if you're targetting farming over fun, then I see no reason why lack and team would not block this map. Merely because some players (who can be easily punished in any case) take advantage of the ?s, doesn't mean the fun value should be ruined for the ?s who would most likely enjoy a good game of Feudal. There is a reason why this map wasn't blocked in the first place -- because n00bs enjoy playing it!

As I say, on the face of it, Feudal is very decieving. It looks easy, and the concept would appear simple to the new players. No doubt lies in my mind that the n00bs enjoy playing, but the fact farming prevails unfortunately means Feudal may be blocked from their join list.

Honestly, this was the first map I played on this website (or at least one of the first 10). I really liked how it worked, and yes I sucked at it but that's what makes it fun: learning something new.

It shouldn't be banned from a certain group, but the ones who abuse it to intentional farm--well, that's the issue that should be addressed. Those particular individuals who are border-line farmers are the ones who should be warned/punished, not the newcomers.

Then again, can do I honestly expect the CC-Elite to handle this appropriately? Of course not. There's two bad solutions to this problem.

CC has stated a couple diff times that Feudal is being moved to the restricted map list. They have already made the decision.
