Conquer Club

The day the Pearl Harbor map is coming back is only 10 days away. Honestly, I am rather disappointed in lack.

Das Schalob... it's been finished since October 12th = 1.5 months wait for it to be uploaded.
Pearl Harbor - been gone since what... November 10th? (might be a day or so off) = 0.5 months.

And just watch which one is going to be uploaded first.

1. Das Schalob has been off the site longer, and it has been finished for a longer time than Pearl Harbor...
2. Das Schalob has no active games on it, while Pearl Harbor still does (the fact that it had active games on it was the original reason as to why Das Schalob could not be updated)...
3. They were both popular maps. It's not like people only played on one and not the other...
... but for some reason Pearl Harbor has had an exact date set as to when it will be uploaded and Das Schalob has had no comments from the owner whatsoever.

I've not played on Pearl Harbor much, or Das Schalob at all. I don't intend on playing much on either of them in the future either way, just something I find odd.

It's actually ß, an ezsett, so it's "Schloß" or "Schloss"

Anyway, was it really Oct. 12th? Wow. That's just terrible.

I have no idea why Das Schloß is not up yet....i haven't heard anything from MrBenn or lackattack.
Pearl Harbour is a deliberate date re-launch.

Das Schloss has had territories added, removed and changed. I can't just plop it in because loading an existing game would then cause errors. I need to write a script to convert existing game data to fit with the new map.

I hope I can get Das Schloss done soon. but I plan to first tackle a Conquer Man update that has similar issues but to a lesser extent. It will be good practice

Why not just upload it as a new map, like all the other revamps? (Brazil 2, Germany 2, British Isles 2)

Those revamps were not really new maps, I just added a 2 next to the name so that people don't see the old map graphic cached in their browser.
