Just for the record

I recently ran a tournament where the winner received the chance to enter one line in the UK National lottery and a chance to win a possible 5 million pounds ($7.5m ish). Jerry1111 was the eventual victor and just so there is no possibility of confusion I'm posting the chosen numbers here before the draw......

2 9 17 33 38 46

and here is the actual ticket....

The draw is tonight Wednesday, so best of luck Jerry1111.

If those numbers come up, I wouldn't want to be you when you have to tell your nearest and dearest you're giving up a fortune to some chap you know though a CC tournament!!!

Methinks you'd keep it!!

To be honest that's one of the reasons I posted here and also a problem I've found a solution to. I've done the same line twice, so if Jerry wins, then I'm also guaranteed to win. I'm sure Jerry1111 will be happy with a few million dollars.

Would Jerry have to pay UK taxes if it does win?

'cuz that'll leave him with, what, a couple hundred quid?

An incredibly intelligent move - I wouldn't have thought of that. Well done.

Just to finish the thread.....

JERRY1111's numbers

2 9 17 33 38 46

Winning Numbers

2 19 22 25 34 47

So One number correct and one out on two others.

One last note, If the same numbers had been chosen over the last 6 months then they would have won just £10.

So what you're saying is, the dice are random?

I thought he was saying that the dice are rigged. So I guess it really IS all about your perspective! <grin>
