my dubs team has aussie, and we are looking great. the other team takes africa which is no big deal cuz we can take that down with the stack i just put on A1 for my partner.

but then green nukes the shit out of my team! securing the bonus for them, and fucking our team up pretty good.

WOW. the first game too. crazy shit.

Guess the lesson is, never stack your troops in one spot, in nuke games.

My first thought is that it would act in order the spoils are cashed. So if player 1s spoil is before player 2s spoil in the list, player one would be out first and player 2 would win.If that's the case, it's sufficiently random that in the long run it will act AS a tie.

Myself, I just lost a big stack on feudal epic. His first cash hit my biggest stack on the board... odds are in the 1 to 140 or something maybe more. I recovered though I think.

At first I discounted the usefulness of the cards, but they are not only sources of destruction, but sources of info... they can help narrow down where your opponent is on a fog game, which could "be" the game.

My worst one was on wwII poland though.. 33 stack taken out. I did not recover that one.

played on tournament... been down most of the time, getting only 2 troops per turn and while one player developed, two others just chased me... crazy... and then the strongest player got bonus, i had no choice but to put all my troops in one place and try to take him out... so i put it all on one place, reinf my only stack there, and draw my fifth card after i had two pairs... guess what? it was that same damn territory i had my troops on!!! not that i was surprised :(

oh, here is the game... Game 6192193

Well since he cashed 3 cards, the odds of hitting your stack are much better than that ;)

Keep your stacks on cards that you own when you have less than 4 cards. If you have 2 pair, don't end your turn with a stack on your own card because you could be forced to nuke yourself - in that case spread your men out among several territories you don't own in hopes that your enemy cannot nuke them all.

Just for the record, and I can find the game if need be, in a 4 player Pelopennisian War game the other night, my stacks got hit twice... when I was holding the card they were on.

Cost me the game. The four of us figured: with Nukes we are ALL in danger.

ok, you are correct about the odds... but 1 out of 50, on the first set, is still pretty damn unlucky.

On a game of normal feudal I lost my stack twice too...but nukes were flying around like Osama had a stash, so that is more expected...no less annoying though.

I guess the question is... do you split your stack, so while its more likely to get hit, it only gets knocked in half.. or do you make a smaller target...

The question is really: Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya.....punk?

chances in Fuedal are about 1:14, not 1:50, it´s about 7,25% to get your stack with a 3carder
lucky, but not unreal

I agree... but I was talking about feudal epic not fuedal with the estimated 1/50. IE 140 terr, 3 cards, stack all on one territory. And ballparked for entertainment purposes only of course.

but heres a better one

2010-01-09 12:58:17 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 87 troops from Port Royal
2010-01-09 12:58:18 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 4 troops from Blauvelt - Holland
2010-01-09 12:58:19 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 4 troops from Calico Jack
2010-01-09 12:58:20 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 4 troops from Columbus - Spain
2010-01-09 12:58:21 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 4 troops from Esquivel - Spain
2010-01-09 12:58:21 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 35 troops from Galleon Harbour
2010-01-09 12:58:22 - AAFitz reinforced Wares with 4 troops from Hamlin - France
2010-01-09 12:58:23 - AAFitz ended the turn and got spoils

2010-01-09 12:59:35 - AAFitz deployed 37 troops on Wares
2010-01-09 12:59:35 - J_A cashed in a group of Hanover, Linstead, and Wares nuking each region

that was almost 200 troops... which I had because I could not find him...but he had a massive stack...he very possibly could have won the game because i forted like that.

I'm looking forward to playing Doodle Earth and eliminating another player and then being forced to play a set that eliminates myself.
