No Risk Tournament of Champions this year?

So I guess there was not TOC this year. As their site hasn't updated since 2008.
http://www.risktoc.org/Anyone know if its still going on or what?
It would be a shame if it shut down.

It would be a shame if it shut down.
Not shut down but experiencing funding issues I believe. Hopefully it will be back next year!

Steelhorse knows I'm available to update the website for him at any time. It would be unfortunate if it didn't happen next year, I was thinking I would finally have a chance to go.

Shame, that. I was hoping they'd do well enough to have a second tourney somewhere on the west coast so I wouldn't have to try and get to whereverthehell, PA...

would there be enough interest in the c.c. community to set up our own? I'm in chicago, would consider setting things up here if we have enough interest

Steelhorse I believe wasnt able to give it his full attention this past October and dint want to just throw something together just for the sake of doing it. I believe he is trying to get something together for this year. Contact him directly for more info.

I wasn't going to be able to go in 2009, so he didn't put it together.

This may be my fault.
I went last year for the first time.
It didn't happen this year.
You know, every magazine I ever subscribed to collapsed before I got all the issues.
Everywhere I ever worked closed down soon after I left...
They demolished my school which was founded in 1706...
