play unlimited spoils, then get to four cards, then play your shot iuncluding reinforceing thn just dont finish it. as have been asking about this as it is happening to me and been told not cheating. makes you wonder why waste time implementing a pointless card option. if this is all u have to do.

Uh...I don't like the Nuclear Spoils deal myself, but what you're saying here really doesn't make any sense. If you don't finish your turn, you don't gain a card. If you don't gain a card, you can't nuke anyone else. What this individual is doing is purposely AVOIDING gaining that fifth card, almost certainly because the cards they hold match up with territories they own. However, by them not turning their cards in, they are certainly NOT guaranteeing themselves a win.

Unless I've completely misunderstood what you're trying to say here, I don't see the problem.

I like nuclear spoils. It's got me interested in the game again. Mods, please don't dump this style of play for a little while longer, I'm having fun with it. I want to play more games of this.

(Kind of like in Sim City, when you'd build this bustling, beautiful metropolis, then throw Godzilla at it to see how effective your emergency response teams are -- I guess building those extra hospitals wasn't such a bad idea after all, huh fiscal conservatives?! And you guys wanted another stadium because it would generate revenue? Well Godzilla JUST ATE YOUR DAMN REVENUE.)

yeah, not ending your turn doesnt guarantee a win by any means whatsoever. it only means they dont cash cards, which, considering they could pull the card that includes your big stack for number 5...is hardly any way to insure success.

If they have four bolded cards already because they own them, and simply dont want to cash...its likely theyve won anyways at that point.

well, first, you need a bold card. Then you make a HUUUGE stack on that territory. then you nuke it. then you suicide the strongest player. works every time.
