I dedicate this new record to my good friend bones2484.

** note- total could increase if my other active tournaments in the final round are completed within the next couple hours.

4 tournaments of 16 players each where about 1/3 of the players are the same in each tournament and you only play 1 game per round except a 2/3 final round. I'm not holding my breath from being wowed.

What Night Strike really meant to say ( coming from a mod ). Great job JR. Although I continue to treat you like shit and will take every chance to bash you and make your life more difficult, you really do a good job around here. Expect more medals to be removed from you shortly.

I would like to see any of the haters do what JR did. Have any of you haters ever played in other tournaments like Pool, Foosball, Darts, anything like that? Most of them have 16 player tourneys. To win a 16 player bracket tourney is 4 wins in a row. Not something easy to do at all. JR is by far the best 1v1 manual drop player that I have seen(unfortunately for me). It is like a chess match, and although a lot of luck is needed to win, JR has proven that a great strategy is key to winning and based on his performances he has the best strategy for winning.

Winning a tourney is winning a tourney weather there is 528 or 16. Of course 528 would be more impressive-that is common sense-but winning any tourney is good.

I do think highlanderattack won something like 7 tourneys in a week, that is also pretty crazy.

Entering and/or organising short tournaments as a thinly disguised way of getting lots of medals/pointless records quickly is nothing new.
Tooting one's own horn just follows suit, nothing to see here, plenty more records/self-congratulatory threads in GD to ignore,

Night Strike is correct. All 17 of my tournament wins were only 4 round tournaments and did not take a year to complete. I found the year long tournaments rather dull, due mostly to taking months at a time to complete 1 round, and only join those once in awhile. The trips and quads tournies take a couple months to complete them too and I only join a couple of those off and on as well.

I really do like this Jr24 chap...Usually hits the Nail on the Head too..

I am tooting my own horn here and fully expect the ramification I will receive from it, but I was hoping to one day beat this record.

I just won my fifth for the day and hope to have a chance at one more later tonight depending on how fast it gets played.
