I am currently playing a game like that, only it's chained instead of adj.

It's now on round 27, no eliminations yet...

Honestly and truly (and NOT to be argumentative), I must disagree...that is actually very close to the BEST map and settings as far as I'm personally concerned. 8-man sequential adjacent no-spoils TERMINATOR (the one thing you're lacking in that game) Circus Maximus is the greatest game, and requires the most strategy of anything on this site, in my opinion.

I play a lot of circus maximus... I like it.

I dont like it when we all just deploy (edit) 17 str8 rounds. Terminator would make it a lot better. If I had a chance at a scalp I would be outta that one already.

Terminator DEFINITELY adds to the strategy of the thing.

I played this no cards, standard too - one of my first games. We soon realised there was no point in attacking - and agreed that if anyone just built we'd all attack them. That got things going, but it was still a long long game.

I disagree with the idea that there's no point in attacking. You just have to be very judicious in your attacks, making sure that you can leave behind "a defense" while still moving forward. Attacking is the only way to get to 12 territories, which is the key to winning on those settings.

ding dong the witch is dead... dont ever make these settings and trick ppl into playing.. please. be humane.
