Stuck in standard game play blues

I know it's been said before, but there really should be a way to speed up the game play.
I am stuck in standard game play waiting days sometimes for my next turn. Either kick off the no show players sooner or shorten the 24 hour time limit between turns.
Weeks long game play at this rate is not a good way to encourage new players to stay with the site.

If you want to play speed games, you should buy premium.

Alternatively you can go to live chat and holler for RT games (Real Time.)

if you're gonna stay freemium, you should play more freestyle (or RT 1v1s). freestyle games are obviously much quicker

Well not 100% sure I'll be sticking with this site, 11 day 6 round games notwithstanding the live chat has some kind of bug which does not allow me to stay connected to it for more than a minute or two and the page is horribly misaligned :x . The on site techies have been trying to solve the glitch but nothing seems to have the desired effect :-s

it has worked well for me for the better part of 3 years, but yea, when something does not function properly. its a hassle.

also another suggestion, even if you dont have out in the live chat all the time, try to find people who are online around the same time as you are, start or join 3 player games with them. you will notice they move at a much faster rate

Where do I go to find a suggestion box? I just started a game where a player missed the first round and appears to be going to miss the second. My opinion on this is that if you aren't there for your first turn, ciao babe go find another game to play. Unfair to the rest if you're a deadbeat.

Allthough I have to agree with you that it is annoying if other players (frequently) miss their turns, the huge advantage of the current system is that it allows playing at a very relaxed pace. You have the time to think through your turns, don't need to have at least an hour available before starting to play, and can afford to not visit the site a day without immediately risking being booted.
