The "?" magnet

I dont get it. But its true. Every time I make 5 man esc term Madagascar sunny, seq, man. I get nothing but question marks.

I keep well over 100 games active and always have 50 pending... I start my games in bunches, and there is nothing that attracts the "?" player more than this setting.

I mean it. I have 4-6 current games with these settings that just started. I think there are maybe 16 "?" players total... lol.

Something about it.

Anyone else have map+settings that is a magnet for the " ?" ... ?

A few of my examples...
Game 7091164
Game 7091165

Kinda sucks for me, I hate to play terminators against the "?"

I guess it's just that ?:s can't play 6-8 player games, so 5 players is the largest game they can play.

Madagascar is one of the small maps, it's simple, easily approachable. Remember they can't see all the maps either.

And terminator would be tempting for new guys since you can lose but still gain points if you just manage to kill a few guys.

Also perhaps this map/setting combo is not popular with more experienced players. So the waiting games float up to the top of the join-a-game page, which is a known pasture for ?-herds.

All these facts combined and your games flood with ?:s.

I think it's that and that specially if you are setting bunches of them up together.
Maybe you shouldn't carry on doing them if you know what will happen....attract ?'s.

I can't remember the last time I played a "?".

They seem to stay away from my games.

also, I think the maps that new recruits can join are limited till they get a better score as well. So possibly they see a higher rank in games with maps they are actually able to play.

No man... its terminator... somehow these ?'s always suicide into me and another takes me out... lol.

Ive lost 300 points since Ive put this up. Terminators against lower ranks kicks your ass.
