Terrible Luck All Day (Yesterday that is)

Woke up and played my games and was just lost rolls non-stop. I still pulled out some games obviously and limited the damage to 150 points. But I exited a lot of tourneys today. The two biggest killers though were the Battle of the crayon IV Finals and the College Hoops.

In the Battle of The Crayon IV Finals (4 player game) I had already taken out one player and it was 5 on two 1's and I couldn't take the next players cards. So my opponent took the cards. I still had a chance to stay alive for turn-in (escalating) and win the game but again I could not get a 5 on two 1's I needed to break the bonus.

Then in the College Hoops Tourney I was in the sweet 16. I did not get first turn on my home map route 66, but I pulled that off w/o a hitch. But it was best 2 of 3. First was Italy. He 3 cities (7 deploy to my 3 on the drop!) That was over after I couldn't break it (shizzy rolls too). And On D-Day. He got first turn and went to 12 deploy. I literally did not win a roll with my 7 counter and it was over. Two huge games in a best of three (biggest tourney I've played in too) were decided against me on the freaking drops!

Uggggghhhhh!

I think we've all had days like that. The was one day where I had four speed games and in the first round of every game I did not have a single winning intensity cube. :(

The cubes of intensity obviously did not smile on you that day, and looking at your extensive collection of medals and points you clearly aren't just some cook whining about luck.

Then again I remember playing RL Risk and losing an army of about 100 to an army of 20 :(
