Has/can this happen?

I was wondering.

Is it possible (or has it already happened) for there to be 2 or 3 players left with one and only one territ in a game, and for someone to nuke those exact regions, effectively ending the game in a tie?

Don't think it would be a tie. It has been discussed before. It all depends when the nukes are used. Goes in order. You deploy spoil, Spoil A, Spoil B, Spoil C. If they are deployed in that order, Tert A is nuked first, then Tert B, then Tert C. So whoever has Tert C would win

actually NO.
only with a slightly different proposition. Say that for some reason all other countries are taen by a 3th player that went beadbeat
Take any map with bombardments that you cannot fort away from like WII Poland planes (or less likely) waterloo. if both of you have a plane, you both cannot kill the other.
Obviously with nukes, you can just bombard away untill you are lucky enough to draw a card that kills you or your opponant. but without nukes you'd be stuck

Oh come on! We're both deadbeating, so it's fine! The scoreboard won't be affected at all, and I don't mind losing points in the name of science!

I would take the game down if I were you, I am checking with the higher powers of CC to see if this is legal for us to do. If it is legal, then I will be perfectly fine with playing... er... not player against you

Don't worry. Not only do I have to be patient, but I also just got my ass handed to me in a Freestyle game. Should've made it private. X(

well i think in this would win green....because when 2 or more people deadbeats in the log shows in order(yes also in fs...there are many speed doodle fs) so the first one who got kicked in the log would be the one who lost....

how can it be point throwing when you dont know who will be getting the points plus they will need more than one game for proof

negative, they do not need more then one game to show intent when the intent is writen all out on the forums..
now eddie, you might recieve a pm to join an experiment, or not, either way, i think its moot. we already know who looses, player a.

It seems like we have reached a conclusion, the furthest player down the line would win the game.

See, a little patience, and the game was not necessary :D

Intentional deadbeating test, eh? Might be fun for the mods to agree to test to see what happens, if no one has yet. (I'm not sure a BR qualifies as an appropriate test)

What about Freestyle assassin game where people eliminate their targets AT THE SAME EXACT TIME?

There is no such thing as the exact same time to the computer...
stahrgazer wrote:(I'm not sure a BR qualifies as an appropriate test)

how is it different from any other freestyle game...(yes it has more players) but there were 3 players that deadbeat... last one on the list won... Test Complete.
