Why doesn't Conquer Club have a Roman Empire Map?

This seems like an obvious question, but it surprises me that no one had built one- it seems, apart from the classic map, to be the obvious second choice. A Mediterranean map depicting the late roman empire seems to be a logical, but absent choice from the maps selection. Why is it so?

Because no ones designed it, head to the map foundry and you'll find hundreds of other ideas waiting to be created

Yes, and Napoleonic Europe is based on the conquests of Genghis Kahn.

Yes, because everyone knows that the Roman Empire is like, the most important thing ever.

Except for the fact that he conquered most of the known world at the time
only a few centuries earlier, I doubt it

Thanks for all the replies. I'll check out the foundry and see how that works. In the mean time I might give Imperium Romanum a shot. It's not the same as the Roman Empire map I had in mind, which is a version of an old Italian well loved board game, but it is reasonably close... I'll give it a shot, thanks!

I feel like this is the time when someone made an "Europa" map when there was already an "Europe" map in place.
Kinda repetitive don't you think?

I was a noob when I wrote that original post. I love the Imperium Romanum map now I've played it hundreds of times.
For the record, Army of God, the Roman Empire was the most important thing ever. A great deal of western society is still based on the institutions crystallized and formalized by it. But that is not why I thought it was the logical second choice for a map. It is because the second version of the original board game 'Risk' was 'SPQRisiko' which was a roman empire map. I was expressing surprise that CC mapping didn't follow that same development.

Imperium Romanum is okay, but Conquer Rome is everything a map should be. I absolutely love it!

for the record,i whas in data base, great map who are start 200 BC, and who have working title >ANCIENT EUROPE-RISING EMPIRES<
its very complex conquest maps, who have almost 300 territories. You are in begining in a role one of Empires Capital, and from there you start conquest building Ancient Empire. There have over 10-15 Ancient capitals. Also you have Ships, Forts, Ports, Soldiers ,Cavarly. Consider that CC declining,i think that its no chance to finish development of this map.
