Yes, I like this one too. But the one in the orginal post is better in my opinion in estimating whether you have the resources to eliminate an opponent.

For example, I've got 10 armies in New Guinea and I want to figure out the odds of my capturing Australia, when this is what the rest of the continent looks like:

Indonesia has 3 armies
Western Australia has 2 armies
Eastern Australia has 2 armies

The Gambit odds calculator tells me I have an almost 60% chance of succeeding.

The Bartell one won't let me do that in a single calculation.

Exactly, that's precisely what I was looking for. Calculators that don't take in to account the number of territories you are attacking and how many are on each are very flawed for anything but figuring anything but what your chances of winning vs one territory.
