Nominations will be closing January 31st. Still plenty of time to nominate your favourite tourney of 2011.

i have international tournamen,but probably nobody from Former Yugoslavia dont aware of these awards,so nobody nominate me

This is a great idea. Not a thing wrong with a little extra recognition of those that contribute their time and efforts for our enjoyment.

Yeah, not even one International tournament has been nominated. If you can figure out a way to spread the word among the International TOs that would be great.

chap,i can not nominate myself, and i dont want to pull people for leg to nominate mine tournament. International tournament exist, but probably because its filled with people who are english language are not hes own language ,then you dont have nomination for these award. Maybe for international tournament , some of responisbile for these award need to investigate?

It's not my fault you wanted to troll earlier and few others decided to discuss how awesome the awards are.

I think the awards are a great idea, encouragement to future TO's to see their hard work and who appreciates the tournaments they run.

Hopefully will increase the quality of tournaments we see posted for sign ups in anticipation for next years Primes

you really don't get it. this is an ad for a thread in another forum. that is against forum rules. you can't promote map threads, clan war threads, etc within the GD, and you surely can't promote tournament threads here. you are a mod. learn the rules.-el Jesus negro

I think the point of this thread is to discuss the awards, not to promote them.

Agreed with tupence. You can discuss your fav maps here, you can discuss your fav medals here or how many. This thread is to discuss the awards. Not ad for them or the current voting process.

I'm not advertising anything. I was opening up a discussion thread to talk about the awards. I think they are awesome and I hope I win 1 or 2!

P.S. I've read all the rules and I know them, that's why I haven't received any bans.

For anyone wondering, threads like these have duality. They can be posted in either GD or (in this case) the Tournament Discussions sub-forum. Since this does discuss the awards in a general CC nature, it's fine where it is, but we won't encourage a BUNCH of tournament exclusive things to be posted here! Similarly, we don't move questions about maps from Q&A to that map's thread/Maps Discussions! Seeya around,

There's a difference between advertising individual threads that will benefit only one person's project and advertising a vote that is open to all members.

I suppose there might be a better way to word that, but you know what I mean.
