What does it mean when it says shield sword over rides all positive bonuses.

Can I get another shield/sword for additional bonuses?

The colloseum map, it means that if you have a sword AND shield you get +4.
E.G. if you have a sword, normally you would get +1, same with the shield. However now instead of +1 and +1 you get +4 instead.

Hi,

Can someone with a sword territory in an armoury attack another territory within the same armoury or does a gladiator have to "enter inside the armoury" before attacking the neutrals for the weapons?

If your gladiator is dead, does the sword bonus still count? If so, can a sword territory (in the armoury) venture out into the arena and take over a gladiator?

It looks to me that a gladiator can get a maximum of +7 troops from weapons bonuses (1+ dagger, 4+ shield/sword and +2 charriot), is this correct?

The short answer is "No. You can not get more than +4."
