ANSWER PLOX

It's once in a blue moon that I agree with AoG but I have to admit that map maybe isn't the best for a game involving so many people. I am not saying it wouldn't have its merits in a different setting but its designed so that for the first, lets say, month of turns nothing happens. It needs some small neuts or something to spice it up a little so that in the beginning people have something to fight over without basically committing suicide.

I know some people don't like the foundry process being circumvented, but I don't mind the map. It's just another one of the maps out there on CC. I find the bonuses horrendously confusing, which I think may have been rectified with more input, but I don't think that's the basis of the complaint here. It would be nice though to have a selection of maps or open up some of the larger maps like Hive or World 2.1 to the Battle Royale scene.

I am slowly getting used to the map but do agree that it would be great to play on some of the bigger maps:

Supermax prison riot
Hive
oasis
AOR2
world 2.1
chinese checkers
Eurasia


These could all work.

As you dont have to have 52 players for a BR do you?

AoR2 only has 6 starting positions, you know.

it is one of the reasons for the existance of the colloseum map...
you get 2 starting positions, so somebody suiciding into you just for point is elliminated, and everybody starts more or less equal. E.g. in OAR some would hold a castle and others a freezing -1 place....

Its not the best map out there, but if foundry could make one to replace it, i think that could work, if it would actually be better

The bonuses are so needlessly complex.

That is all.

Why not just a map with no bonus and everyone can hit everyone from anywhere. Basically it would be the equivelant of one big yard like in Supermax.

no, then low ranks attack peeps just for their points.. and higher ranks wont join, and those are the guys more willing to pay

Maybe in terminator, I don't see why that would be the case in any other game type.

I wouldn't mind.

The map's too complex and it just hurts the eyes. No color, bad graphics, meh. I'd much rather play on World 2.1....make a much more fun game.

but you were not able to get 2 spots ther AND sometimes its better to be dropped on norway then in the middle of russia or another large continent with multiple borders..

but overall, yes i am more disappointed with the map then i thought. I like the idea, but not the artwork and esp the legend

Shit..I agreed with AOG too!

I was so excited to see BR as a feature, and then terribly disappointed that we were limited to such a...complex map.

My only strategy on that map is to hold an elephant until I am eliminated.

At least its not Waterloo though.

+1 for World 2.1

What's wrong with Waterloo? Admittedly it would be a bad choice for BR but it's one of my favorite maps.

Put me on the list for 2.1 as well, though(Ok, this is getting scary). Great map and would totally work for BR. Maybe this should be moved to suggestions.

So you just pick the tert that reminds you most of the shape/characteristics of an elephant? Intriguing strategy...

I forgot that we can join BR at anytime. Oops.

I just looked at the BR map again. Now I remember why I didn't care enough to join one. That map.

At first I was like "awe shucks, I gotta wait 30 days to join another BR" then I forgot they existed for months and joined another which reminded me why it was so forgettable.
