Well, I guess it was far better than that one year when the whole website was annoyingly hot pink! My eyes still burn from the reminiscence!

I dig the dice. My only complaint was they put it all up like at least halfway through the day and are keeping it up for days after instead of days before. Maybe somebody dropped the ball and they're making up for it?

Just be glad, that the developer isn't in love...if not we would have this all the year

Where I grew up, people don't take down their Christmas lights until the week before Easter , so my perceptions of when holiday decorations should be taken down are a little skewed.
Everything should be back to normal within 24 hours.

That was because, when I posted the event thread in Announcements, I forgot to post it as an announcement, so nobody saw it until I changed it that night. My apologies. Won't happen again.
