Hey people we need more maps. Its been a while since we got some new ones. I also would like to be able to play for a whole month the special maps, like all december Christmas should be available, all march the clover one, all april the easter one...and so on...It seems like the hallows eve is forever in play but not the rest, why?

we have about 250 plus maps... i doubt you have played them all... most people agree that the flood of maps is part of the problem with CC... adding more maps is not going to solve the decline... why don't you try out some of the maps you haven't played or those you didn't like prior?! what a horrible idea... and, why didn't you post this in the foundry? ugh... in before the lock/move...-Jésus noir

@dildo - if don't have the skills to create a map yourself you can always post an idea in the map foundry. Most mapmakers apart from the most experienced often work co-operatively; one does the graphics and another the coding. However, there have been cases where a third party specialised in the gameplay.

People want different things.

What flood of maps are you talking about? There hasn't been a new map introduced in a year and a half.

Are you talking about the flood of maps that were being created back when the site was thriving? It looks like membership peaked around September of 2008. Do you think everyone would come back if we just removed all maps created after that date?

The problem is not too many maps. The problem is that we have a library where all of the items are sorted alphabetically, and there is no index. Who would want to use a library like that?

Definitely worth posting in suggestions if it hasn't already been done. At the very least we should be able to sort maps by size. Popularity, complexity (criteria would need debating), age, etc. would be cool too.

I, and others, have posted the same thing several times. There has been no response from management. I don't have much hope that anything is going to improve around here.

How about the 2016 Presidential race with all the candidates?

The one who takes all the Republican and Democratic delegates wins. Make it a 50 State map and each State that has a higher population would have more delegates of course.

Bonuses would be included with each region such as New England, Deep South and so on.

I don't believe there should be no new maps, but I do believe the process should be a lot stricter. Half of the maps we have look like utter shit and they're not particularly old ones in some cases either.

Once a map is created and approved, does it stay for good? If yes, maybe that should change and the least played maps should be removed to make room for new ones.

By no response, do you mean they rejected the suggestion or ignored it entirely? If the former, what reason was given?

If they are unwilling to implement a way of sorting maps, at the very least one should be able to flick through them rather than having to open every map individually to look at it.

Not enough of something being bad does not prove that more is always better with no upper limit. Not eating enough food will kill you, can we deduce "the more you eat the better" from that?
All your examples teach us is that not having enough options is bad. That is not the case when it comes to maps on CC.

I believe was about the word "coffeeboy"...that is just me thinking....now it amaze me to read comment from player who have been with this site only a half year, played few hundred games (11 different map only out of 252) and thinking there isn't enough new map to play with, no offense my friend but I think I'm not quite understing the issue there...

I don't know that it would help the site really since there are a ton of maps, but I'd love to see some new ones. Makes it more fun for those of us who have played the old ones a bunch.

I love spanish armada, pirates and merchants not so much, Krazy Kingdoms is confusing as hell and has some things that don't seem to add up based on the description but even still I've had plenty of fun playing it.

I don't see anything I wrote that could even be misinterpreted in a way that would lead you to the conclusion that I think there is a shortage of maps. You've added, not missed something.

actually, yes, i would rather go to a restaurant with a one page menu than a ten page menu. i would rather go to best buy for my electronics, and giant eagle for my groceries rather than wal mart for both.

see, my feeling is that the restaurant with only 10 items on the menu specialize in those 10 items. i guarantee the food is fresher, and the chefs know exactly how to make those 10 items better than the other restaurant that has 100 items.

pretty much, half the maps on this site suck dick. they are poorly done, and dont represent the site as they should.

but who i am i? i dont know, maybe someone who has seen this site go from a lot of players to fewer players. i remember when there were 100 maps, and there were a lot more players.

just sayin. having 300 maps is gay.

-----I wrote in "Is CC Declining" on page 96. A list of 75 maps to ,lock in a vault. Rotate if need be. Maybe delete them like Classic Art and Classic Shapes. Do we need 9 USA MAPS? Others are duplicates as well. TRIM THE FAT PEOPLE. TRIM THE FAT...If new maps are to be introduced. Maybe put some SETTINGS in a rotating vault as well.

Why are you so angry? Is it because you blurted out a 5-syllable word in an attempt to sound educated without having a clue what it means and are upset others picked up on it, or because between you and your 2 teammates you've played almost 20k games yet were outplayed by someone who's played less than 250 (dice being the only reason it wasn't over a few rounds ago)? If it's the latter, at least it makes the accusation slightly less arbitrary (though no less childish).
