Eliminate auto selection for deploy and reinforce

Anyone else entirely sick of the site 'automatically' picking an alphabetical solution for deployment and reinforcement?
Seriously, I know all that is required is clicking the right thing and all is well, but one wrong finger placement can really screw up a turn.
Can't be terribly difficult to eliminate that piece of code.

Use the interface and it will ask you to confirm.

What would you have instead?
You need to have something selected, right?

I agree with both the suggestion and the decision to not bother going to the abandoned suggestion forum that should just be removed.

Why? There is no auto selection for cards.

If you miss click and try to cash two or less a prompt window pops up. "Illegal set". Same could happen if the deploy window was empty until you make a choice.

Yeah... one could use the 'end phase confirmation' but that's a rather clunky remedy for likely a single line of code.
Speed gamers would particularly dislike that option.

I also got tired of that and of deploys happening where I didn't want them. So I use the interface and I have it set to require me to confirm. It slows me down just enough most of the time. It is a bad system for speed and/or freestyle. But I don't like either of those, so it works much better for me. I recommend you try it. Unless speed or freestyle is you cup of tea.

ofc it's terrible.
Who hasn't clicked by mistake on the tert already automatically selected to make a (partial) drop there, only for you to drop everything that's left?
And yes, I don't see that as something that would be hard to code, it's a drop-down menu, so you just switch it to a (select something) option

great idea... have considered require confirm bur often dropping troops > 10 times , gets annoying to always confirm
