Mentoring Pilot Program

I'll be a mentor. Level 4 (I mean, I'm no horseman of the apocalypse, but I do have my moments

)

Strengths: escalating, singles, doubles, 1v1, mafia

I would also like to make a recommendation: that there be a link in the first post of this thread to wacicha's "for new players just starting out" thread (which used to be stickied), which does a great job of summing up a lot of basic strategic info.

i guess i could put my name up here i would say im a 3 i prefer to play alot of dubs but i can win a good amount of the singles i play. i tend to play more "taditional geographical" maps like Classic, Brit isles, ireland, Alexanders empire, ect. my stregths are patients and finding a way to win even if i dont have a bonus

Pretty good at 1v1, and I'm a fan of most maps.

i'd like to sign up as a mentoree. i think i'm kinda level 4 but i still haven't deciphered all the secrets of CC. so i still need help in terminator and assassin games and also in escalating.

i mostly play standard 4-6 player games sequential flat rate and unlimited.

recently i've started testing the following settings: terminator escalating/no cards and chained. i'd also love to get a decent partner for doubles game. i have played quite a few but nothing in a large scale with a constant partner.

Since you're looking for something specific, let's wait to see who steps up to volunteer, either of the current group or someone new.

If anyone wants to work with DIM, just note it here so we know he's covered.

I would like to do a little bit of both.

I play standard, sequential turn games with flat or escalating cards and unlimited fortifications.

So as a mentoree I am most certainly a 4, I'm looking for a top player that will be able to point out small mistakes and be able to keep up with strategy debate.

As a mentor I am about a 3, most certainly a 2.5. I am quite confident that I can help any player willing to try get above the 1000 mark playing singles games.

I'd like to be a mentor. I'd consider myself a 3 and can play all game types/maps except for freestyle. This is by choice, not from lack of ability.

I would say I am a mentoree 3. I understand all the really basic stuff, know how the site works, but just need some expert advice on how to win games, especially the rookie mistakes I rather not make. And what is this stuff about a slippery monkey? Thats what I'm saying!

this is an odd case, but maybe someone can do it. I was a 1400-1600 score person before, and now my score sucks. I want to see if someone can compair what I did then and what I do now, so I can see what I should be doing again. :wink:
