There is a need for some young players to have their own section, a new area. this is crap that needs a special place for teens, pre-teens and kiddies to enjoy their particular brain buzz.

Eh, I just don't think theres much demand for it. For a site with a h-u-g-e membership base, CCs forums are relatively dead. The flame forum is no exception.

He's quite right. As far as forums are concerned, CC's are somewhat dead when compared to the membership numbers, some forums with half the members of here get twice as many posts. I see no demand for a new, separate forum (from CC's point-of-view) that would draw a large amount of activity from the existing forums.

Do I like the idea? Yes. I would like a place here aimed at the more mature-posting crowd, but logic says you keep a lower number of forums that are more active then a higher number that get less posts.

I have noticed the Forums dying down a bit, but could that just have to do with the fact that a majority of the players on this site are now back in school? I'll bet it picks up slightly over Thanksgiving/Fall Break and during the Christmas season.

Although, if Twill is correct in that the staff is going to get expanded and include people with specified roles within the forums I could see the potential for a Politics/Opinions Forum opening up, but only if there was someone willing to be on top of what was being discussed. There would need to be perhaps 2 or 3 relatively level-headed individuals who had power only in that Forum and who would keep a very close eye on the topics being created. If it didn't meet a specific facet of that forum's purpose it could get moved straight over to the Clubhouse/Miscellaneous Forum.

Personally, this is how I wouldn't mind seeing it broken down.

As long as iliad is around certain threads will never die, because he loves to bump to keep them going. He simply spams up every thread, just to get his post count up. Which is ok, but it doesn't make the forums lively by any means. In fact it makes them boring as heck!

I don't think so. IF you notice these "teens" are the posts who take up the majority of the posts. Ever notice how the clubhouse is the most active board. Also I'm glad it changed, back when it was all serious trash, now it's FUN! Xtra is just mad because he meaningless trash gets ingored. Poor Xtra. Go back to the flame forum.
