I think you're going to be eating those words by about this time next year.

Yes, the information is already there. Reposting it is what made it bragging. Also data miners lose the 'it was already there' argument a lot.

2. YOSEVUK 3858
3. GIBBOM 3838
4. BILBO 3719
5. JR 3699
6. COMIC BOY 3675

10. MANIACMATH 3514

It is a truly remarkable achievement reaching the pinacle, of what can be achieved on here, or is it really ? i am one of the lowest ranked players on this site but form what I have read and what I know of the above 11 they are far from the best 11 players on this site of all time. I am not going to tar them all with the same brush as no doubt some are truly exceptional all round players, but 4 of them nearly 40% reached these scores through controversial means.

2 (1 in particular) took serious advantage of a weakness in the system that triples "teams" could take advantage of.

1 got there mainly through speed freestyle esc. games

1 used a a weakness in the freestyle gaming style very much to his advantage.

When such a high percentage achieved this score via controversial means - I would suggest let JR's 3k thread live on but this one needs to die a death, when such a high % of those on the list have in effect tainted scores in the eyes of many.

(again no offence on those who truly deserve to be singled out, but i'm afraid you are keeping bad company)

another got there with a BR win.

No offense to your post, but what is the correct way to get there? It seems if you dont play 6 players, escalating, standard games than your accomplishments mean nothing. That is what is unique about this site. You have many different categories to choose from. I persoanlly dont like 6 player standard games because I dont care for the alliances, suicide attacks, and all the other BS that goes with them.

and if you are refering to me as taking advantage of the freestyle system than you are wrong. Over 1,000 1 vs 1's I played at an average of 6 turns. thats 6,000 turns. I used the double turn tactic maybe 20 turns. My overall point total in 1 vs 1's is in the negative. So I dont call that taking advantage of the system. the problem is we had 2 players examining every game I played and when I did do the tactic it was posted. funny how the other 99% of my turns were ignored.

What is really in question is who are the players in that 11 who actually deserve to be there ahead of some others who don't. BR victory from gibbom means that his name there means very little (as much as I like him as a person.) A few other players have taken advantage of players ranked much lower than themselves.

Really I think the best players are not those who have taken on the best oppposition and consistently beaten them, whether it be in singles or team games. Beyond that it becomes much to awkward to differentiate between which is better - singles players or team players. Personally, I prefer singles players because that is what I enjoy playing myself mostly and realise just how hard it is to move up the scoreboard. This doesn't mean they're any better than the likes of Blitz... certain players just specialise in certain areas...

in response to your question JR in my opinion there is no right way. This site has lots of poor and average players and it has some good players and a few fantastic ones. some of the fantastic ones are specialists at a particular game type others try it all. but at this level I genuinely do not see the scoreboard as a fair determination of skill and I assume most would agree. Hence my earlier post. As for 6 play esc. singles, I have debated this issue at length with pg and others but again if someone is the best at this game type it does not mean they are the best in general. It just means they are the best at this game type - after that the questioin arises were the games public or private whom did they beat, what maps etc. At the end of the day we all have our opinions on who the good players are and who the best are - score does not always tell the story eg most high rankers would regard clapper011 as one of the best players on cc yet her score is around the 1200 mark does that make only a third of the player the above 11 are ?

 ok, well ty for liking me or being an OK guy

just was doing a condensed version, this is 3500 plus, the other was 3000 plus, so, no need to get your pantyhose in a bunch, it will not need to be updated much and will get lost behind the pages soon enough, only updated if one gets past 3500, pretty hard to do.

there is dancing mustard on 1st 5's and top 5's on Page 1

1st 5 to 5000 posts

1st to 5 10,000 posts

Top 5 with most posts

Blitz, I think you would get alot more respect if you didn't find it necessary to gloat about your score everyday. I think if you just stick to playing and less "I am better than all of you" threads, you will get the respect you are desperately looking for.

rebel, you probably can't minimize JR for freestyles, 1v1s, or double turns. but you could note that he plays almost all open trips games and ignore lists anyone that beats him a couple times. that would probably work.

well I played over 12,000 players and only 45 players have made my ignore list. So im not sure where you get your information. Out of the 45 on my list, some of them I never even played a game against. So to state the players are on my list because they beat me is the complete opposite of the actual truth. In fact, not 1 player out of the 45 is on my list because of that reason.

If you still are wondering why you are on my list, than just use this thread as an example. Or have Courtney repeat the conversation for you again.

I got no problem with you but this is blatantly untrue - I have been on your ignore list twice, laterly because of your dispute with THOTA but in the first instance because I beat you a couple of times. Look mate its your account and you may operate anyway you please but lying in order to justify yourself is just plain dumb .

no point in arguing with these people like it or not theres always gona be haters who wish they had or could accomplish the 3,500 points list since they cant they have no choose but to try to stand out by hating on the ones who have... I do agree with one thing though Scoreboard does not reflect the over all game play of a player every player has there own style. ex. my is speed freestyle 6 player escalading although most of you dont agree with me being on top but I must tell you the 5 players who play with me in my 6 player games do not give away there points and although you may not realizing this is actually a very dangerous game I'm playing im going in every time with a 1 out of 6 chanse of winning not only that but I must win 2 out of 3 games to keep and increase my score just a few points so its not easy seeing as how the noobs who do join those games usually suicide on the highest ranked thinking that its the only way that they can win which is quite stupid seeing as every person even us 3500 points guy have to follow the same rules have to roll the same dice and get the same crappy locations and cards that every one else does the only thing that stands us out from the average player is our ability to use our experience, inovation and strategy to win games... although my rank says I'm #2 right now I dont think this means nothing because I know I'm not better then some people in singles sequential or other types of games I do know one thing though and that is that I had to bust my ass to get those points in my style of game which is neither easier or harder then any other style of game that this site offers so every one has a chanse to accomplish this its not impossible all you have to do it focus on a style your good at and stop the hating and actually play some games instead of spending all you times in forums talking about how we cheat to get our scores to the 3,500 mark.

RobinJ wrote:What is really in question is who are the players in that 11 who actually deserve to be there ahead of some others who don't.

This doesn't mean they're any better than the likes of Blitz... certain players just specialise in certain areas...

good points robin

i think its best to maybe just let this one die out cause it seems to be causing to much anguish for some folks

just let jr maintain the one he is doing at 3K

he is doing very well maintaining that

perhaps if in the future he felt like condensing it he could, and let this thread just fall away

very balanced, well argued and reasonable post

PS can you remove me from your ignore list as i am not sure whether its experience, innovation or strategy that has made you choose to put me on it (its hard to play games if you are on ignore)
