What are "Killer Neutrals" ?

I'm working on a new gameplay suggestion called "Infected Neutrals" over in the Bugs and Suggestions forum.
Someone has mentioned something called "Killer Neutrals" in that thread.

What are "Killer Neutrals" and how do they work?
Are they officially called "Killer Neutrals" ? (If so, I have to admit that I'm concerned that "Infected Neutrals" and "Killer Neutrals" will get confused !)
Are they going to be included in the Instructions soon ?
Can we play games with "Killer Neutrals" in them yet?

We don't have killer neutrals yet. I think it is just another name for infected neutrals (or zombie neutrals) whatever.

as far as i understand killer neutrals are going to be introduced through dims age of mayhem map and somebody's arms race map....and most interestingly if said territory is occupied by say 6 armies of player 3 ...at the beginning or end of the round...KAPLOW!! :o suddenly there is 15 or 10 neutrals there on the territory...the player could even have 100 armies and KAPLOW!!! gone.... quite literally they kill whatever is on their xml preordained territ and deploy their code preordained armies at the end or beginning of every round...their purpose..is determined by the mapmaker. this is my understanding of killer neutrals ( :geek: ) all info comes from intense browsing of final forge

Couple of points...

a) Arms Race isn't using Killer Neutrals.
b) Age Of Mayhem isn't using Killer Neutrals.

A Killer Neutral territory is defined in the XML - and allows the territory to be reset to it's neutral value.

The reset happens at the start of the player who is holding the square's turn (it is calculated before the territory bonus is calculated)

Any player armies on that square are replaced with the defined army count from the XML.

IF in a terminator game and one player is attacked and left with only a "killer Neutral" square - obviously they will die at the beginning of their turn. So Who gets the points? The player who last took a territory from the eliminated player. (Well this is what I recall from the discussions when it was being implemented - the only person who can provide 100% certainty on this is Lack himself)

As pointed out before - "Infected Neutrals" (on the TODO list) & "Killer Neutrals" (Already implemented but not in any maps yet) are 2 completely different things.
