Dear Lac, and CC, any possibility of a hybrid of premium and Free, perhaps ~ $10, with some features but still some limit on the amount of games one can play at a time? I'm afraid if I became premium, I'd spend EVERY waking hour here...

Like someone else said, it should go to the suggestion forum.

However, gdangel and I went around about this in another thread and I really think doing this would cost CC some serious money. Quite frankly, $25/year is not much and many of us who pay it likely only use the site to the extent that what you guys are probably suggesting be offered for the $10 level. So for every one of you that would sign up for less there's at least one of us who'd just pay $10 rather than $25.

Considering how little the sign up fee is, you guys are going to have a hard time convincing me that many who play for free do so because they're prepared to pay $10 but not $25 for CC.

Any such dividing up of purchases should of course be done in such a way that by buying all the parts costs more than buying the whole. And a popular feature should be more expensive than a not so popular.

Learn self restraint, rather than whining for another option.

Well that makes perfect sense. gdangel did bring up an a la carte deal or pay as you play for blocks of extra games. That's always a fine way to raise a little extra cash.

gdangel is a freemium whiner who refuses to pay for premium, yet wants more and more features for freemiums... if people didn't buy premium, there wouldn't be a site. period. if he is so proud of his freemium status, then he should stop suggesting ala carte and reduced costs for limited memberships. afterall, if you used an ala carte option, would you still be eligible for his awesome freemium hall of fame? hmmmmm...-0

Wow, you guys are a a tough crowd. I was trying to think of a way to give CC more $$$. Kemmler, I do have self restraint...I only stay up to 1-2 a.m. to play this game on the internet....and stategize on my active games only 50% of the day...

Owen... at least get my name right... and why are you trying to hold back the site?

Mini-Freemium would mean more sales. Increasing the price of premium would also bring in more $$$, if done correctly. Simple enough for you.

You of course won't believe this, but people pay about 2,000 x 1yr freemium for advice and analysis on this stuff in the RW and call it a bargain, so go back to your camera and take some overexposed photos of a five-er, post it here, and of course that will helps this site make more money, especially if you add some of your trademark witty banter :^o

plus lack needs his coke. and damm u i aint going to deny him of it and when my year is up ill gladly hand over another 25 bucks cause this site is just awesome

Maybe a $3.50 monthly fee would suffice... for those who dislike the annual fee.
