ok today I won 7v11 losing 1 unit, thats crazy, no question there, just wanted to mention this bcuz I too have my moments with the dice, dont want u guys to think Im just some everyday complainer
but what I really wanted to share with u guys is this unreal alien completely out of this world BS thing from another game, opponent brakes my bonus attacking 4 v 4,3 clean, now thats just fuckin ridiculous, I really dont know what to think of this stupid dice randomizer thing cc uses anymore, that attack was gem set match in second round
if I can expect something like to happen every day how am I suppose to stay here and continue playing and paying my membership bcuz that and other bs we all see every day arent much of a encouragement or w/e word would be appropriet to use here

i autoattacked 150vs72 and it stopped at 3v48. was it a bug? no. was it pure bad luck? yes. shit happens with dice. sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

I'll never get used to losing like that, ur thinkin thats that, game over, then dice decide to step in and after that u just stay speechless for a few mins or brake 3rd mouse this month or w/e, oh well

It would be worse if the dice didn't do strange shit on occasion, given the sheer volume of rolls CC grinds thru per day. Hell, the other day I lost 10 straight 3-on-1s. Dunno what the odds are of that happening (plus I'm 100% certain that worse has happened), but if something is even remotely probable, it'll come up eventually.

Which is all just a long way of saying "suck it up, cupcake."

That chances of that happening are very low, but it's not impossible so don't complain about it. It's not a bug. Especially 4 v 4, that's not even that hard to do, you've never won 4 in a row before?

I've been thinking about dice pain for some time now ... and why we perceive that the dice just can't be random when it happens ... try this for size:

Let's think of a really rare event where the odds are ridiculously high ... even more ridiculously high than losing X v Y or whatever it is that just happened to you at Conquer Club ...

The odds for the event I'm thinking of are 13,983,816 to 1.
If I took one chance every year then probability indicates that once every 13,983,816 (X) years the event would come to pass.
If I took one chance every week then probability indicates that once every 268,920 years the event would come to pass. (X/52)
Stuff it, if I took 100 chances every week, then probability indicates that once every 2,689 years the event would come to pass (X/52/100).
So what is this event? It's 'never' going to happen to me is it?

It's winning the National Lottery (UK).
And it happens to someone almost every week. Even though the odds are so high.
Because so many people are playing. I don't know the actual numbers, but it's realistic to assume that 13,000,000 people play every week ... (There are 60,000,000 people in the UK.)

The maths:
UK Lottery uses 49 balls. Players pick 6 numbers.
Chances of first ball out being one of the 6 I picked : 6 in 49
And then second ball out being one of the 5 remaining: 5 in 48
And then third ball out being one of the 4 remaining: 4 in 47
And then fourth ball out being one of the 3 remaining: 3 in 46
And then fifth ball out being one of the 2 remaining: 2 in 45
And then sixth ball out being the 1 remaining: 1 in 44

Probability
= 6/49 * 5/48 * 4/47 * 3/46 * 2/45 * 1/44
= 720/10,068,347,520

Odds
= 10,068,347,520/720 : 1
= 13,983,816 : 1

Using the probability of 3 dice losing to 2 dice (or whatever your personal dice pain is) at ConquerClub you can calculate the probability of it happening repeatedly and, just for interest, see if your dice pain is more or less probable than winning the UK lottery ... which happens nearly every week.

its hard it really is. u just gotta suck it up at that stage and realise its a game. thankfully im only on my second mouse this year

4v4,3 is an approx 3% shot - so this will happen many many times every day.

To win without losing any guys is still over 1%. Given the number of games played at any one time on CC, a 1-in-100 event is actually pretty common.

(still sucks to be on the end of it though )

Yes, I can believe it. On the W 2.1 map I just had 22 on British Claim versus 30 on Tierra del Fuego and not only took it, but went all the way up to Panama breaking several bonuses... and still had a few left over.

some guy just took a 7 army threw my 9 and 5 army...losing 1, basically took my 30-20 army and bonus advantage away and easily won after that...dont want to bitch about the "random dice" but that is just stupid, ruins the game for both involved

you know I have been watching these dice too. I have to agree with everyone something is wrong with them. I don't win everytime. I was in Vegas and there is a whole game based on rolling dice, and I didn't win at that everytime either. I wrote to the CEO of Harrahs and the mayor of Vegas. I hope they send me my money back.

In other words, shut up, no one cares, it has all been said before, and the dice are what they are. Play your game, and even perfect strategy will lose to luck now and then. And if you are playing a game with cards, and still bitching about dice, you really have no clue.
