WARNING BUTTON

How many times have you accidently pushed the end-attack button? I can bet a lot. I also bet that it has cost you a couple games too. If there is any way to incorporate a warning button after you push the "end-attack button". For example if you push the "end-attack" button another button comes up and says "are you sure" with a yes and no button. I believe this would save a lot of accidents and make many more people happy.

That's a thread with instructions on how to install greasemonkey, and the BOB script. you can use that to get a warning pop-up.

Don't have it. Don't want it.
It would get on my already dwindling nerves after the 342nd time.

Plus, if I do accidently hit it early, it almost always means that I have a large army(s) somewhere ready to attack/fort next turn. Never cost me a game.

I would absofuckinglutely hate to have a stoopid popup pop up at the end of every turn asking "ARE YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE YOU WANT TO END YOUR ATTACKS?" The "you cannot attack" and "you cannot fortify" prompts are obnoxious enough already without adding one more. Accidently ending attacks is like accidently ending forifications or accidently deploying/attacking the wrong territory and is a part of the game that happens to all players. So figure it out and...
SUCK IT UP CUPCAKE!

I use the cheat scripts that owen refers to and have voluntarily disabled the end of segment warnings.

they used to have the 'attack' & 'end attacks' buttons right next to each other. It was really fun in the good 'ole days!

Why on earth would you not use bob? And no, a smug sense of self-satisfaction is not a valid reason. :D

there are plenty of threads on this... some of us use prefer to use our brains to play casual online games vs. cheater tools and scripts for those that aren't clever enough with what they have between their ears... now, can we get back on topic?-0

Careful. Even the pop-up isn't fool-proof. After accidentally clicking enough times, I started using the pop ups for end attacks and end forts. After using it for long enough, I got so used to clicking the 'OK' button, that I would do it automatically every time I clicked 'end-whatever', and started making mistakes even with the pop-ups. That's when I realized that I, and only I can take responsibility for my moves, no matter how many "helpers" I was using. I haven't used the warnings in a long time, and I've ended mistakenly less often since I stopped using them.

In my opinion, the best way to avoid making these mistakes, is to make them. Once you've done it often enough, you'll start to be more careful, and observant, and a better player as a result.

I had completely forgotten about that... ohhhh the cards that never were, & ohhhh the broken sweeps... the heartaches of it all... but then, lest we forget, we were beneficiaries on occasion as well...

Oddly enough I don't think I've ever done that one. I have pressed the END FORTIFICATION button several times when I wanted to press the FORTIFY button but those were complete brain farts and not simple mistakes of the fingers.

For once I agree, just don't be talking on the phone, eating chips, playing video games AND going around the house (you get my point, keep your eyes on what your doing)
