I've posted just a few terms here - and I need you to suggest new ones and I'll put them on this post !

If there's a word you're not sure about, here's the place to ask about it (and if it's not on the list - I'll put it on when we know what it means ;) )

Also - is it worth putting on general terms (not Conquer Club related) such as "ABWOP" or "ROFLMAO" etc ?

EDIT:

5. FFS

Fat Friend Syndrome - Sort of a Murphy's Law of dating. Most hot or good looking woman have a lesser attractive, usually overweight friend along to accompany her on a date or social gathering. Half Bouncer and Half Excuse Hot chicks employ the help of these friends to protect from an on slot of lame fellows, or as an excuse to escape. The Male can combat a FFS by deploying a wingman to create a diversion.
"That girl is hot but we have a FFS in effect"

or
"FFS, to your left."

7. friendly fire, sorry

player1 one team kills player2

player1: ffs
player2: you suck!

oh... and as for Scott's other notation...

WTF = The World Taekwondo Federation ... an olympic sport since 2000.

What are you talking about? Dice, maybe... but am I not allowed to comment about how ridiculous the changes (which now seem to be permanent) are?

I support something like this, although I would say it should be done in a more official way rather than some random members adding in a word or two.

FFS works for us guys too-- it's backup. If by some ridiculous chance the hot chick shoots us down, the line usually always works on the FFS. Granted we may have to stay at the bar for a few extra drinks in case the bartender is out of handy brown paper bags.

Block - to block another player from killing a weaker player
Sweep - to kill all/the rest of the players in one turn
Fortline - the territories that all next to each other, which form a line that you can then use during your fortifications/reinforcements
Steal - to steal a kill from another player
Recash - to kill a player and obtain enough cards to cash again that turn (also known as: mid-turn cash)
Skipping - either skipping getting a card or skipping a turn instead of cashing (usually during a round where most/all players are cashing sets)
BPB - Bullet-Proof Bandits (another CC clan)

Block- To occupy a terittory, with enough troops, to effectively block one player from killing another, or themselves being killed.

Sweep- to eliminate a player, cash in using their cards, rrepeat until the board is clear.

Fortline- (I'm not positive here, but I will make a guess anyhow) a line of connected territories that you can use in chained or unlimited forts to move troops over a large distance.

Steal- used in freestyle, when one player does most of the work to eliminate another player, but a third jumps in at the last minute to finish the elimination, and thus "steal" the kill.

Recash- to turn in a set of spoils (or cards) mid-turn, after eliminating a player.

Skipping- To jump over a turning rope or cord, whilst singing girlie little songs.

BPB- irrelevant

Edit- fastposted

No. Not in such an unofficial way. Although I agree with the definitions up there so far, the OP did not know what half of them were to start, which means that in later times something not true might be added.

I think that if something like this should happen, a mod should be the OP and we should actually discuss each term rather than taking the first definition available.

Here are some examples of deficiencies:

Block - To block another player from killing a weaker player Rarely good to use the word in the definition. If they can figure out that definition, they should have been able to figure out the word in the same way: through context.

Recash - Cashing cards at the point of taking them; in a turn (also known as: mid-turn cash) If someone is new and using this (I think this is the target audience), then how are they supposed to know that you can only recash if you have 5 or more cards when you eliminate someone (thusby taking their cards). You need to explain things for the background rather than making a dictionary of English to CC slang.

So far, good list, though we need to actually think about how this is helpful rather than taking the first definition and word that comes up. I hear BPB about once a week here... not that important to a new recruit.
