When you are angry with someone now, you have to stalk their games and leave nasty comments for them in Game Chat of games that you aren't even playing.

It all makes a lot of sense.

Flame Wars just gave people a forum to argue and call each other names and everyone else could watch and read and have a good laugh or not and now that evil forum is gone thank goodness I am so tired but I want to flame someone please help me.

prowler. you are saying the same thing i have been saying.

there used to be an excuse to tell people to leave a certain forum, and go to flame wars to flame.

now it will just happen everywhere.

night strike told me that the new admin wanted a "family friendly" environment. he also claims he doesnt mind all the extra work that will be involved now that there is no flame wars.

i wonder if lack will mind not seeing my 25 dollars. i doubt it, but in the end, that 25 dollars multiplied by 10 years, or however long i would have kept paying would be 250. now take that 250, and multiply that with other people that feel the same way i do.

as if taking down flame wars will bring more people to the site????????????????????????????????????

it is right there in the forum. not for the easily offended. and the easily offended stayed out of there. like i stayed out of gd, and m a a n.

hilarious. i have an idea guys. lets cater to all the freemies, and multis now.

go back and look at flame wars. the people who posted there were 90 percent preemies, and overall good people.

everyone in flame wars got along........in our own way. i respected most people in there, and had fun bashing them. now it is gone, my respect for this site has gone with it.

Don't be silly. Why would anyone expalin anything to you. it's not like you and many others are actually paying to be here is it.

A bit like the tool that works, but doesn't work, but does work and is not used we are given cryptic messages and no real explanations.

Get used to it, this is the level of service this site gives, and it has got no better with the new super duper managing team....in fact I would hazard it has got worse.

are mistaken if you think that Lack will lose money as a result of the decision. In fact the opposite is far more likely as plenty of parents would be wary of letting their kids loose on a forum, that in part, had no boundaries.

and parents will tell their kids to be happy with the 4 games they have, and that is that. no premium.

cc is hilarious to me. i got warned by night strike about flaming the new admin in a forum. there was no cursing, no nothing. just pissed about my forum being gone. and still no explanation of why it is gone?

i feel as if cc really doesnt want me or my type here anymore. so i am leaving with no regrets. i will finish out my games. and like kaiser soze, poof. i doubt you will ever see me again.

who has some suggestions on other sites that would want my money.

You know I felt the same way when Classic went and took a pretty long break but now im back and enjoying the site again....even playing a few games on art
At the end of the day this is by far the best place to play so you need to put the loss of fw behind you and enjoy what is left.

Classic Art is not soo bad, but I know CC lost many people over the classic map. No clue what it did on the business end, but could not have been good.

If you people really can't live without flame wars, then you have no life and need to actually leave the computer.

Anger management classes might help too.

i had never really thought of it that way... interesting... perhaps they could get their own off site forum like others have, for the singular purpose of flaming each other... we don't pay for the forums in our membership fees (and premium is not required to use the forums), so if you really miss/need it, why not pay for your own off-site forum? seems simple enough, at least until some sort of official announcement is made by the big robot or twill lite...-0

now don't get me wrong, I did enjoy a few laughs over in the flame wars forum...But it is not the end of the world.

So why don't you guys let us have FW back but as a private forum for members only then ppl that don't want to read it don't have to

guess what, i already suggested that! all you need to do is set up your own off site forum like other members have done and continue to do. the Bandits have our own off-site forum, pile of awesome is still going strong, and there are many other examples. all you need to do is pull together and get it going. why not have ron and/or artimis set it up? sounds logical... OR why not set up a USER GROUP IN THE CREATE CLANS SECTION OF THE FORUMS?!!!! a thread, 9 members, and an e-ticket gets you a private forum. that option is free and seems an easy route.

all i know is, going about and flaming in other parts of the forum, and leaving veiled threats in bumped threads with polls that have under 100 votes as a show of some sort of majority consensus, is not going to help. perhaps you should engage the admins/mods in a constructive dialogue about the matter, to see what is going on, and to understand if FW's is truly gone. sucks to lose a portion of the forums, but again, we don't pay for the forums. they are a gift from the great turtle above, and we should be thankful for them...-0

I'm sure if you googled, you'd probably find sites out there just for flaming. Why not join one of them?
