how do i post a vote?

If you click on either the radio button (for a choose one option vote) or the check box (for a multi choice vote) and then click submit, which should be below the choices.

Do you mean set up a poll? If so then you set one up at the time you first start a thread. IIRC, you need to click the tab 'poll creation' below where you write your post.

i still dont get it is it in the bar were the players and game and links and stuff is?

Click on the "New Topics" link, then scroll down below the area where you write your post in, you will see 2 tabs one is marked "options" the other is marked "poll options"......the second is the one you want.
