Cross-Map Unique Opponent Counting

Hi,

I've done a search of the forum on this topic and have learned a few things but haven't found the exact answer I was looking for. I'm really wanting to get the "cross-map" achievement medal.

How are "unique opponents" counted in the different games? I found the answers about "terminator" mode and team games. What I want to know is this:

a) Do I have to beat 5 players at once in each of 20 maps? i.e. Do I have to win 6+player games in 20 different maps? Or can I beat 3 players in a map one time and beat two different players on the same map a different time?

b) Is a unique opponent one that I've never played against before on any map? Or can I beat the same 5 guys on 20 different maps and it counts as 5 "unique opponents"? The reason I ask is that I usually play against friends on here and I wonder if it's hurting my chances at winning these medals.

I read about the Firefox plug-ins that people use to count their scores, medals, etc., etc., but the truth is that I have a ridiculously slow internet connection (GPRS cell phone only) and the AJAX BOB takes up so much of the speed that I don't want to add any other plug-ins to it.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

a) your 5 unique defeats for each map can come from any game, for example you could win 5 1Vs1 games or 1 8 man game

b)A unique opponent will have to be unique for each map, so each player can count as a unique defeat for 110ish maps  if you beat them on them all

(these arn't definitive just what i think)

lozzini is right, although I think there are over 130 maps. (Just make sure that if you are doing five 1v1 games that they are five different users, not the same user five times.)

The Plugin is called Map Rank GL. viewtopic.php?f=59&t=64678

The plugin wont add anything to your overheads because it can be run from any Conquer Club page and requires you to choose to activate it ,
so if you install it, run it from outside your games pages. It doesn't do anything unless you tell it to, so don't worry about it slowing down your turns.

It will do all the calculations for you, tell you how many unique defeats you have and recommends what to do next also.

Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate the answers and the info on the Map Rank GL. I tried it out and it's very handy! (Seems I play a lot of less than 6-player games and then move on to a different map!)

Thanks again!
