Continuing to advance?

I've recently become a major and have found that now when I play games (typically speed & sequential) I have a tough time finding any games listed with people near my rating. When I start games I typically get people who accept that are rated quite far below me.

I'm still winning enough to keep moving forward, but I'm wondering if there is something about the site I'm missing as far as playing other high (not that I'm that high) ranked players. I still feel like there's a great deal going on here I'm unaware of, as I've only started reading the forums recently.

Maybe I just need to start playing in tourneys, or team games, or something like that?

I certainly don't mind playing people below me as it's still fun, but I'd like to also play people at or above my level as well.

Anyway, I hope I have explained my question sufficiently. I look forward to any feedback you can provide. Thanks!

Hey Vermont, check the Callouts forum. They have threads there for 2000+ games. I personally play tourneys because they're fun, but whatever works for you. :P

Yup, the callouts would be a good place to start. Also, consider joining a clan -- it will provide some good competition.

also you can make private games and invite people you know of higher rank.
