Questions about farming, attitude, and cards. [Answered]

Three completely unrelated questions that came to mind. Thanks to anyone who can answer any of these for me; they're simple really.

1) Has farming been deemed illegal? I'm seeing people accused of it in the Cheating and Abuse forum, and I thought I saw someone mentioning it earlier too. Is this why all the ratings seem so much lower on the scoreboard, due to bans? Could anyone link for me the official decision and debate?

2) Looking at the CC Rules, it seems that profanity and having an overall negative attitude in general is completely acceptable at CC. Is this correct? And is there any counter to this, other than just having to Foe people afterward? I dislike having to Foe people, but I seem to encounter a few negative personalities now and then... Thankfully most of the people on CC are friendly or at least silent.

3) Is there a max limit to cards? Seems that most people say you can turn in "up to 9 cards" at a time, but what happens if you eliminate a player before they turn in their 9 cards? Could you theoretically be able to turn in 29 cards?

Here is a link to an old Announcement about Farming that should explain a few things.

We take a liberal stance on what goes on in game chat and in the forums, when it comes to coarse language. However, if a user is repeatedly offensive in nature, in game, outside the game, or conducts any sort of harassment or user trolling, they may face disicplinary actions if they are reported in the Cheating and Abuse forum.

This a good question, one that I haven't ever seen in a game situation. I'd assume theoretically if you eliminate someone during their turn, before they are able to cash in their spoils, you would get their spoils which could amount of a large number.

Aye, I recall the discussion as well, but don't remember it specifically.

Simple answer is yes. :D
In a freestyle game you could come upon the situation with 6 or 7 players taking their turn simultaneously and the last (and inactive) guy having 5 cards. That could make for a chain elimination situation that gives you 5+4+4+4+4+4+4 for a grand total of 29.
Though I would say that the odds of that happening is higher than the odds of CC getting no more dice complaints.

I think Gilligan holds the record for most sets turned in at one time. I don't remember how many it was though. You'll have to ask him.

Ah, thanks everyone, especially Andy!

That makes sense to ban farming then, if it was affecting new players so much. =)

Okay, that works I guess. Guess I can endure. Good to know that continued harassment is punishable though.

Hm, I'd definitely like to see someone turn in 9 sets in an escalating game. The poor last remaining player.
