Why is King_Herpes a guest now?

(how can you tell he is a guest?)

well i guess that someone reported some of his posts as offensive or spam or something.
He is an carefree sort of a character and for that i enjoy his posts.

yeah i can't really see the harm in them though can you?

they are irreverent but not nasty.. a little surreal and peppered with expletive but that adds a lot a humour to his posts.

...just before that one there is a post which could perhaps be seen as a little threatening in tone. But to be honest I think it is hard to ascribe nasty intent, who the hell is to say what side Herpes is batting for!?.. i suspect none but his own! Therefore his words are pure fantasy and have no intent but to the frivolous.

I had noticed that he seemed to be back into more regular posting. It almost seemed as though he was trying to make a point about the recent change in attitude of the "powers that be". It seems that they took the bait quite readily.

Then again, maybe I'm putting too much of my own perception into things.

I think if he's still on the scoreboard it's only temp. Otherwise they try to erase everything of you as they can.

I actually dont know what would happen if the conqueror were perma banned...i think ur name still stays on the scoreboard for 3 months. It would be interesting to find out...but unfortunate.

no, i think you read it correctly. he had entered into a phase of posting with slightly more gusto and devil may care attitude. And the edge of determination is unlikely to be coincidence alone.

Truthfully, he just seemed to be the same old King_Herpes to me...I didn't really sense any change in attitude about his posts at all (though I did notice that he was back TO posting, as I hadn't seen him around much in a while).

we do often reflect our own agenda upon others.. but truthfully, i had noticed an edge to Herpes posts and had not made the connection which Timz had.
So after Timz made the statement, it made sense to me. (I had never heard him talk about punching someone's teeth in to make them into crackers before .. have you? I have seen the lewdness but never a hint of aggressiveness .. not even in the cloak of abstraction)

I find it unlikely that Herpes would ever truthfully answer either way... so we are left with our opinions.

why? a ban of any length from the forums has nothing at all to do with games or the leader board. if you want to know so badly, just contact King via some other method as the rest of us do... try his mom's pager if his fax is jammed up again...-0

I love KH, hope he's back soon. He's a good guy, his humor is just for fun. : ) Some people, (myself included), just come on this site to blow off some steam and relax, I think that's why he has such a Laissez-faire attitude about this site. He's just having fun. Herpes may be vulgar, but his posts never really try to hurt anyone's feelings, they are not serious enough to do this. Unless someone is really sensitive to vulgar language. Anyway, I would like to see the mod's loosen up a little bit, I think they are going to far in the other direction. I'm sure that they will get it right though.

Still banned? Damn it'd be a shame if he was gone for too long, he's one of the few people who has consistently entertaining posts.
