Conquer Club

1- Install the MapRank plugin
2- Go to the Game Finder
3- Figure out which combination of check boxes gives you the highest MapRank score
4- Post it here

So far, the best I have found for myself is +4720. I checked the 4,5,6,7, and 8 player boxes, along with standard, terminator, doubles, triples, quads, and sequential, escalating, and no cards. I'm sure I could make it a little higher, if I picked the right maps, but that's what I've got for now.

Also, feel free to find your worst combination of check boxes. I have not done this for myself yet, but I may.

I might be able to tweak it a bit with player numbers but I went for limiting maps played to achieve best results:

classic shapes, classic art, europe, europa, new world, feudal war (thanks daydream!!!) 2.1

standard, dubs or trips

any number of players

seq or freestyle

no cards or flat rate (I suck completely at escalating)

foggy or sunny

speed or casual

+1982 (56/110) 51% tyrant 77% equalitarian 0.951

So I'd be 18 points off of brig after 110 games if hadn't noobishly given away my first five games and every once in a while thought 'I'll have a try at 2 on 2 freestyle speed against jeff hardy' or something like that!

I think this also puts to bed the belief that you can't get past 2500 playing standard no cards/flat rate. There are a few hundred points of team games in there but the vast majority of it is standard.

Worst? Nothing too horrific but I believe I've yet to win an escalating game and my 4/15 27% -96 foggy stat isn't too impressive...(and the wins I had came from following orders!!!!

So I completely suck at escalating and foggy games.

The worst I can find for myself, after a short time checking, is for all 2, 3, and 4 player, standard, terminator, and assassin games...

The lady was pulling an all-nighter to work on her animation, so I stayed up doing useless shit on the internet.

Just had a look at Davie & I on Feudal with the following settings:

4 Player Doubles, seq, flat rate, chained, fog.

Feudal War2 Brigadier331 +2169 353 from 460(77%) 395 Tyrant (77%)75 Point Hoarder (0.729)

I wonder if there is a dubs team that can better this?

One can only wonder...but in my defence I might say that I produced the perfect Hollandaise sauce this afternoon and served it up with a delicately cooked Salmon.

I'm pretty sure that should be my best Map Rank...I'm not checking anything else because I have at least somewhat of a life. That Map Rank is for Doodle, Speed, Freestyle, No Cards, Unlimited, Sunny 1v1's.

Nope. Not a cheat. It's one of the safe ones.

Maybe a committee should be formed to provide a report for review on this.

I offered a choice as I am a red wine purist and never touch white. So I went with a natty Oyster Bay Marlborough pinot noir 2006 for those who wanted red and an unusually strong Tramin Nussbaumer Gewurztraminer 2007 as the white choice. The glasses for the white came from my chiller while the glasses for the red had been sitting in the glass rack I keep in one of my airing cupboards so they were about body temperature.

For starters I had 2 large Somerset Camemberts heated in the oven (enough for eight) with crusty home made bread broken up at the table and dipped in the runny cheese and eaten with fingers. For sweet we had grand marnier souffles with creme anglaise, something I would never attempt unless we were all eating in the kitchen, which we were, so could all enjoy the anticipation of watching them rise in the oven as we waited, they were delicious btw...typically 3 out of the 4 women had a second helping (I baked 13 on the off chance).

Mines easy... +5500ish on World 2.1. which happens to be the best on the site

-3000ish on doodle, which similarly happens to be the worst on the site (as far as I know)
it was -3000 at one point...not sure what it is now...I think I gained some actually.

No maps just Freestyle + Escalating +7180
