Not that I really care, but why don't posts in mafia games count towards your post total?

Because forum games are part of Turtle Soup, which is mainly spam anyways, so anything within Turtle Soup doesn't count.

AndyDufresne decided a while back that posts in the Turtle Soup and the sub-forums connected were not to do with risk and hence would not count towards people's post counts. However, he chose to make it so that all posts that had been made in these forums previously would still count towards people's post counts, creating a rather skewed system, hence why it is very hard to knock fircoal off as the number one poster on the website.
