I was wondering how its determined how many lands a player will start with in a game? For instance on North America it holds 60 lands so in a 5 man game how many lands will you start with? (12) and why that many besides the fact 12x5=60 what if it was 62 would it be 12 lands and 2 zombies..btw when are those upgrades coming out? thanks

It divides the territories evenly among the players. Any remainders become neutral. Except in 1 on 1 games, where it's divided like a 3-man game, with the third player being neutral.

sailorc is correct. It is for that reason most maps do not have an available territory count that is evenly divisible by 3, such as 36, 45, 54, etc. because in 2 and 3 player games each player will get a territory amount that just meets the requirement to get a higher territory bonus. It then is a huge advantage to the player going first to get a higher bonus and prevent the other players from getting the same bonus.

I'm not so sure I played 3 man games before and started off deploying 7 guys due to land count alone.

Haven't played 2/3 player games on Conquer Man or World 2.1, have you?
